marsh man
I thought after looking at the first photo you were eating raw veg, but no it was just the beginning of a perfect dinner , I have already made my mind up and that is before I have cleaned all the trays and dishes I have used ,that next year I am going to have a decent bit of steak for Christmas if the good lord don't need me , and to make it edible I will practice weekly throughout the year ahead
Sussexboy
That’s a great colour on the Yorkshire pudding, they must have been good eggs! Nice looking bit of beef as well. I love a rib roast.

Had the oven set a bit hotter for the potatoes etc, so it cooked a bit quicker than I wanted, low and slow 🫣 But it was still very nice 😋 5 hours ago, Sussexboy said: That’s a great colour on the Yorkshire pudding, they must have been good eggs! Used Burford Browns as I get nicer eggs for over Xmas 🙂 Was a bit soft, but not bad for my first attempt 😆 8 hours ago, marsh man said: I thought after looking at the first photo you were eating raw veg, but no it was just the beginning of a perfect dinner , I have already made my mind up and that is before I have cleaned all the trays and dishes I have used ,that next year I am going to have a decent bit of steak for Christmas if the good lord don't need me , and to make it edible I will practice weekly throughout the year ahead Go for it MM,,,, I look up cooking methods/recipes on the BBC food website as a guide, and tweak things to suit, then try to remember for the next time 😁

Don't mention Cats in the oven Simon , you know the rules more than most about Cat threads I burnt a few bits of veg in my early attempts in the slow cooker , if that wasn't bad enough I am dreading when the postman put my electric bill through the letterbox😋
