How Would You Feel About Driverless Cars On The Roads In Your Town ?

Saw on the news tonight about the prospect of driverless cars could soon be on the public roads in the UK , they showed you these type of cars are now already in service on the roads in San Francisco and I for one would feel very uneasy about cars going through our town at speed with no sign of a driver , it is bad enough with at the moment with both EU and UK drivers that are behind the wheel let alone cars driving away with no one in the motor at all , so how would you feel ?     MM

Im actually getting quite used to it, she still moans a bit though. 

 

But seriously though whats the point  Its bad enough with the amount of people driving on the roads that ignore the highway code, or even questionable if they have actually passed a test in any country, so they look at no drivers at all.

In the past you would be booked by the law if you were riding a push bike on the pavement , now it is nearly as safe to walk down the middle of the road rather than dodge the mobility scooters and these electric bikes that go nearly as fast as the speed limit on the highways , someone will get badly injured before long and very rare it is the driver of the bike or the scooter .    MM

what is the insurance like .............that is going to be a real minefield...........think about it......whathappens when two driverless cars hit each other......who/what is to blame ....who or what do you sue eh"

With all the drivers I see now playing with their phones when driving I’d gladly take my chances with driverless cars 🙄

They took driverless buses off here from the park and ride to Edinburgh airport as nobody would use them LOL

Believe it or not , I always feel a bit wary when I am in the passenger seat and someone else is doing the driving , my foot is often going on the floor to start braking when the driver haven't even moved his foot , maybe I am slowing up in my ole age

I heard it was only for a trail period and they had a driver in the passenger seat watching everything then it was on the Scottish news they where scrapping them as nobody would go on them LOL 

Think thats the same for everybody in most couples the husband does all the driving
