Tell yer , these meals are looking healthier and healthier , what might be a good thing is to do some meals for those who are on a tight budget , not reduced to begin with but a decent meal that cost say no more than £4 or £5 , I am sure we could sort some out , we have to remember that not everyone can afford what we often have :good:

I'm not keen on poached salmon, but my wife does fresh salmon baked with a Cajun spice mix, which, with new potatoes and fresh veg, is really tasty.

Those pieces of salmon were baked, skin side down in a sweet chili marinade in the airfryer for 4 minutes.

All of the vegetables were whacked in to the microwave for various short spells and then dressed with a little butter, garlic and well seasoned.

No need for a desert after that plateful.:good:

MM, you tell us what you want to eat and I'll have a go at making it simple, cheap and easy.

Pack of Morrisons belly pork slices £2.87.

Those will do you at least 2 meals.

Slow cook for melting soft or whack into the frying pan for crispness

Overall I eat decent food but quite a lot of that which go into my main meal is reduced , no harm in that and for the time being I don't have to worry to much what I spend on food , maybe think about it but don't worry about it , but we have to remember that not everyone is in that position , I would find it harder if I was paying rent for my house with just getting my state pension and a small private pension but thankfully my house is my own so that isn't a problem , no , what I was getting at was producing a nice basic meal that do not cost the earth , veg in most supermarkets are within most peoples price range , they alone can take up to 75% of the meal and then like amateur suggested a pack of Morrisons pork slices that could last you for two meals , that would  be a decent meal for anyone to take on board in the currant cold weather or at any time come to that, then you can also do stews and casseroles with your leftover veg by adding a tray of various meats from the supermarkets , there you go , well on the way in getting it sorted it out . :good:   MM

Yes, so what do you want to eat?

Give me an idea to work from.
