"The longer you chew it, the bigger it gets" Hi, John Lusty turtle soup, many years ago I worked as a ships chandler we sold cases of the stuff to the cruise ships. Lusty had a factory in Limehouse in the East End of London where they kept live turtles to make the soup, all part of history now. Did they have a soup a while back called mock turtle soup ? , not saying it was from where you worked but I seem to remember the word , mock on a tin of soup . Mr. Merkel Posted Thursday at 17:47 Report Share Posted Thursday at 17:47 Hello Marsh man, yes I'am going back a lot of years but I pretty sure the turtle soup was phased out to mock turtle when the turtles became protected.
