Hello,

Just found the forum, looks v good. I only started shooting game 4 months ago. Been out shooting Pheasant, Duck, Geese, and Woodcock in the Clackmanninshire area. Im currently in the Forces (22 years in the infantry, due out soon)therefore got a bit of a shooting back ground (SA80, 30mm cannons and Chain Guns, dont leave a lot of meat on the bone). Would like to get out more, got a Browning over/under, still trying to hit the barn doors (more use to optical and thermal sights). If there is anybody in or around my neck of the woods pse get in touch and we can get a morning out. Will be looking to join a small shooting syndicates for next season if there is a place going half/full gun. AS I said trying to get out, going round a few farms tomorrow to see if I can get some permissions (fingers crossed). If there is any spare shots going or a chance to joining in on a bit of a rough shot pse give me shout. Im in Clackmanninsire however willing to travel.

Thanks,

Unfortunately RSWO I am not in your area but used to live in Fife and held the same post as your self for a couple of years in a fine Scottish Regiment. Welcome to the forum. I now live in Norfolk but do head up home occassionally to do a bit of stalking. Come to think about it many years ago I used to have a lady friend from Forrestmill which is not to far away from you. :good:

Must admit I didna look at the date, cheers for that Mr Smith. Funny enough, I used to work in Dundee first of all as the PSI with the TA and then as the Office manager in the recruiting office. Ah well, I hope he is doing well what ever he is doing.

aye i'm sure he's doing fine.I'm sure i know one or two of your old buddies from the RHR.In fact we may have shared a message or two a couple of years ago but then again my memory ain't that good.
