Nope, all of those social networking sites are the work of the devil.

No good can come of them.

Friends you have fallen out of touch with for 2 years, 5 years, 10 years weren't actually friends were they?

And you may have forgotten that you owe them money, or borrowed a bike, etc..

Mung...have you still got my Purdey?

I am on there but only through peer pressure. I spent about 2 weeks using it, now don't touch it. I don't have my photo up there and update is 24 x 7 with things like "Adam is taking a **** and thought he would tell all his virtual mates about it". Sorry I like my anonymity.

Incidentally, it caused one of the biggest family upsets in history as a resulty of someting my sister wrote. Mungler is right, they are evil!

No good can come of them.

Normally it's people getting in touch with old boy friends and girl friends (much in the same vein as Friends Reunited).

Many a matrimonial solicitor is kept busy by people who thought they would get in contact with an old flame from school "just to say hi and have a chat", reads "I am at a low point in my life, if you are too and fancy some sex for old times sake then lets get it on".

Live and let live and all that but it's not so much fun when the wife and kids find out and then all hell breaks loose as people squabble with the mathematical division of everything by one half.

I am, only because I got fed up with people sending me requests.

So I registered and can't see the point to it at all.

I did hook up with a South African bloke I used to work with and got his new details, but that is it.

I now get 'friend' requests from people who have left work that I absolutely hated, which reminds me, I must de-register today.

Some of the young girls at work have over 400 'friends' in their profiles, but I doubt they have even met half of them, they just collect up details and add them in to out do each other. Probably no sadder than spending all day one here, I am sure they would say

Tell us more this sounds like a good story.

I have one and find it really useful to see what friends who live all over the world are up to.

I've got a redundant account that is now unused.

I could only find "poking" somebody and being sent a picture of a hamburger funny about once or maybe twice if I was ******.

After that it becomes a pile of ****. :o

As somebody has already correctly stated, if you really were "friends" you wouldn't have ignored each other for 20 years. There was a reason why you didn't keep in touch - probably that you thought they were a ***ker B) :sneaky2: :sneaky2:
