digger
As a serial apologist I added the apology to cover my back. Did wonder where I had called you that but threw in a spare "sorry" I had as the wife has gone to bed early.

Cranfield
They won tonight and scored 4 goals against Stoke, so he must already be doing something right.
Lord Geordie
Threaten the lazy **** with a pay cut and they will sharp play decent football I always say SURE a manager can get the team motivated but onl;y the PLAYERS have the skill to win. Put that skill with a genuine desire to win for their team and they should be unstopable. It's blatantly obvious they don't give a flying fig as long as they have their weekly wage to collect. Cranfield
On the TV tonight it was said that "substantial" funds will be made available to him to improve the team and on MOTD, Shearer said if Newcastle rang him re the No2 job, he would talk to them, but wouldn't make any commitment when pressed by Lineker. Cranfield
According to the newspapers this morning, it seems that Kev has a £50m transfer budget and £3m pa to sort things out. Its a shame that not many of the Sports Writers see it as a positive move. It will certainly make the rest of the season interesting in the Premier League. jonno 357
I think the signing of KK is more for the fans. To get a man that has been out of the game for so long doesn't inspire confidence and the betting on Newcastle reflects that 7/2 fav to finish 12th in league Jonno
death from below
Its good for the game in general.....there are plenty of managers around(in all walks of life) but not so many natural leaders such as the likes of Keegan(Ferguson,Jose and others). Any prospect that another team might threaten the so called big 4 can only be good....the premiership has gone stale the last few years and needs more passionate characters like Keegan

To get a man that has been out of the game for so long doesn't inspire confidence and the betting on Newcastle reflects that 7/2 fav to finish 12th in league Jonno stick to pigeons or get a few facts on keegan? he has only been out of mangement since 2005 left man city march 11th that year, has been in FOOTBALL since ok as buisiness ventures, but look at his record sice the mags, up to man city ( who he got back to top flite football 1st attempt) then got man city their record points tallyand beating man u 3x1 at old trafford that season, when he left and stuart pierce took over they just dipped out on a european place, keegan will be fantastic he knows the geordie hordes needs, the mags do actually have some quality players believe it or snot, keegan should get them playing, and with more money to spend than leeds got points the chuffin world is our mussel one kevin keegan one kevin keegan cheers KW
Devon Fox
I will keep watching and waiting to re open this thread again. We have the mighty Plymouth Argyle, great little club, we dont cry when things dont go our way, more importantly we have expectations relative to the size of the club, we do NOT think we are bigger and better than we really are. And yes, we love clotted cream/pasties, go get get yourself a Burger a bottle of brown to comfort yourself when Sunderland/borough do you. Didnt even realise plymouth had a team, and to be fair you getting expectations bigger than your stature would only amount to signing someone anybody had heard of, or having a team that cost more than a burger and a bottle of brown. And bye the way you cant think you are bigge and better than you really are cos errmmm you aint!
