crieffy
I'll swear these geese must know when it's closed season Opened the curtains this morning to find a flock of geese and some snipe about 30 yards from the kitchen window. mr lee
That's a cracking view from your kitchen window Crieffy. What's the chances of them geese being so close when they are in season? ****** all no doubt.

crieffy
Thanks chaps, the snipe were only about 15 feet away and didn't mind when I opened the window and got the camera out. View from the back is nice too The loch is full of brown trout but it's fly only - and I am hopeless with a fly rod

crieffy
Crieffy, all the way up there mate, what do you do for a living? As little as possible! I work at the airport - 10 minutes from the house and shifts are pretty cushy. What camera is that your using? Images are crystal clear. They were taken with a Nikon D80 and Sigma 50-500 lens. I had to edit them a bit as they were taken through glass and were quite washed out. Cheers, John
BSA Shaun
Ah right, does sound alright that! Those sigma lenses are very good, I have one for my D40

Tarlair
You are right about them knowing the season is over. I had 300 - 400 on one of my permissions yesterday. Hardly saw any when they were in season. The good news is that summer must be coming as I saw two massive skeins going north on Friday evening.
