starlight32
Well what was supposed to be a quiet weekend with a bit of shooting and a little bit of social drinking has turned sour..... So far three blazing rows since friday with the almighty over a slight difference of opinion. When you pull into your thirties its time to let all that worry of mucking about at home go on by and enjoy yourself- Am I correct or Incorrect? It all started when I asked her for the risk assessment to use the lawnmower, and followed by the material data sheet for the fence paint when I had other things nicely planned but unannounced. A few years ago I clarified a few points early on in my relationship... I will earn the money and you will live well.... Decorating,Gardening,Housework and having kids is your department But as an added bonus if you ever want any pipework, steelwork or welding done I'm your man.... But alas, There has been a definate breakdown in this arrangement recently My overseas posting dropped on my desk on Friday, so in three weeks time as the saying goes-My names gough and I'm off. At last I will achieve my life long ambition to see the Bridge over the river Kwai at someone else's expense Anyway that's my two penneth worth, If anyone else has been afflicted in the same manner as I have this weeekend please post in support. Regards Men against homework Sounds like a standard management contract to me, it always worked well in my pad. Maybe you should go back to the older tried and trusted methods of management; "Keep 'em barefoot and pregnant" or " If they are out of the house, it should only be to get the coal in". The problem as I see it, is that she just does not appreciate how much money she will save when your peculiar talents are required in the house, assuming that you will not charge her the overseas rate. Much as I hate to say it, it may be worth contacting Harnser and hiring a shed for the next three weeks, the sound-proofed "Wymondham Mk4" model with the "Acme/Lowestoft" locks and one-way glass windows would be my suggestion in this case. new to the flock
You lads have got it all wrong. Send her out to get a good job and then stay home and do the house chores....you will have way more time to go hunting, shooting, and fishing, and not only that it will be HER job to pitch in on the weekends with the lawn care and gardening freeing up even more shooting and fishing time. Not only all of this but SHE is then supplying you with money as well. :yp: It is a win win situation....... .....for you NTTF

Keeping them barefoot ain'nt a problem- Its the pregnant bit that gets expensive. Especially when its the 'other woman' As for the shed Bob- Do you think Harnser can come up with a design which has space for my engineering toot, which will of course fall under the planning guise of a 'temporary building'? To top it all my planning application for another workshop extension of Brick and tile construction at the back of my house was also refused on Friday. The wording is as such- 'A structure of this kind will not fall under the remit of acceptable planning consent due to its size and its proposed design against other buildings in your close proximity' Peasants the lot of them................ Even the council are 'sheddies'
Dave-G
Been pretty good for me really. Messed about with some baffles for my HMR sound moderator and kept nipping out to try them till I got a system that works. Then slept most of the day. During which... The wind got up but not too bad till it stated raining. Now I'm lazing about after checking she's washed the cars. After she's windowlened them I'll decide if the weather has improved enough to venture out and get one of them mucky again. I'll do my bit though and jetwash it before the mud dries. :yp: Bless her little cotton socks - she went like a lamb to the slaughter with the deal that I provide and maintain our vehicles, but she cleans them.
