Dunkield
Have a look at what is in/on the water, and more importantly what it is taking. Failing that, something small in black or grey.
new to the flock
As stuart says check to see what insects are on the surface. I would also hold a small aquarium net on the down stream side of a couple of the rocks and flip them over to see what is available on the bottom. If you can match the food source you greatly improve your chances of hooking up. NTTF

On a serious note I would try a small olive nymph, hawthorn, olive CDC, small grey or red wulff or if all else fails a gold head hares ear nymph....mmmm irresistable! only if all of these fail would I resort to the first option... Let us know what works. G

tuck1
A flying dynamite stick, Crocodile Dundee style! Great piccy by the way. I'm not sure if this is relevant, but it seems to me that as long as you have confidence in whats on the end, you will succeed. Black pennell is one of my faves, don't know why, works for me. Or a Daddy.
