Axe
Members may have noticed the recent Spam activity and would like to reassure members that we are doing all we can to rectify the situation. As a temporary measure, new memberships now must be approved by Admin before being able to post. We trust that new members will appreciate that this may take a little more time than normal. We hope to have normal service resumed as soon as possible. Pigeon Watch Administration.

Floating Chamber
I thought the 'spam' and adverts for 'dodgy' things was part and parcel of websites selling on your details to raise revenue.
Cranfield
Pigeon Watch does not sell, or pass on members details to anybody. The one exception is as stated in the House Rules; "Admin also reserve the right to reveal your identity (or whatever information we know about you) in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by you". The Spam attacks referred to are bogus members joining and then posting their Spam on the Forums and has nothing to do with members personal details. No but I think Cranfield may start an online shop selling PW dodgy items, think PW viagra for when your hide poles start to sag.
