Beretta Warning

So for all you Beretta owners, (or potential for that matter) Am I the only owner who is furious over the stamped warning that is on full clear view on the barrel:

"Warning - read instruction book for safe operation. Book free from Beretta"

I asked the gunsmith what it'd cost to have it removed, but they said that it would cost a hell of a lot.

Does anyone think this would have been better placed, just like the proofing stamps?

Only an Idiot ignores a Warning !!!

If we are allready aware , fine !

We go on an Aircraft we have the safety drill , We go to a driven day , The keeper gives us the warning , we go in the Pub ,NO SMOKING, We walk to the shops we DONT see the warning > Dog **** on our shoes , Life today ,

I was not in any way demeaning your post , its a sad part of growing up in my book . I am sure many other s will follow on this line ,

On my Fisheries , and flight pools now are sighns "DEEP WATER" cant get insurance without complying with legislation now ,

[ And on another point , we have to name who shoots here now for the insurance company !!!! ]

Another Nail?? POW!

No it wouldn't,

A removable sticker would be removed and forgotten about. You could then sell your gun on and not put the sticker back on or pass the manual on and this would then leave Beretta wide open for people to say that they should have put a warning on the gun.

I have the same warning on my beretta semi. It really is no big deal.

Toung in cheek Jinxy!!! As posted once the label is removed its forgotten about , Once You have trodden in dog dirt it makes you aware next time , sorry if my post was unclear ,

Maybe I miss read the warning or was it the Baretta thing , ?? [ being Dyslexic does not help , but I try to read it through , ] You think this is bad , the legislation at the estate for next year , is making us wonder if it is worth letting anyone on the place , . POW!.

I never noticed that before (really worked for me then). Don’t think it will stop me shooting my Gold E though. By the way, just checked my 23 year old Trapper. It says “made in Italyâ€. The morel is, if your really that bothered buy old. There better made anyway. :(

i saw a guy at the local clay range with beretta painted down the side of his barrels in big white writing. thats more annoying (and pretentious) to me than any small msg stamped on the barrels. no way would i buy one like that
