Zapp
does anyone know if the names of the soldiers have been released to the press yet? No names yet but they will be Engineers most likely if they are out of Massereene. Edit: Doh, Dazza already said that. May God rest the poor lads who died and watch over those that are left. A word to all you English on this forum,we are all so very sorry that some who would call themselves Irish,or Ulstermen or whatever, should try and tear us apart. They will not succeed. vole
What a waste. We were well on the way to a peaceful solution and this happens. They were collecting a pizza and were shot. What a heroic act to gun down Engineers who are most needed for the real war in Afghanistan.Such a cheap shot.Maybe the bums that did this were feeling a bit left out? Salop Matt
I hope those who did this are tracked down by UK SF and dealt with accordingly. Not arrested and dragged though court wasting everyones time and money. An eye for an eye sort of thing.
ferreter08
Martin McGuinness said that gathering intelligence on dissidents was a threat to the "peace" just shortly before this, now the cynical amongst us might say he "knew something" anyway it cant be true can it as we have been told these murderous cowardly scum have decommissioned their weapons?and that the likes of Adams and McGuinness are reformed freedom fighters who now condemn violence, hang on anyone got a tasty hat? ooh I know perhaps they used the deacts !!! that oxygen thief jackboot Jacqui thinks are the root of gun "evil" Its a shame for the majority decent people of Ireland, but its now also up to them to stand up and be counted, by informing and not holding up to these people, get them shopped and get this nipped in the bud before it kicks off again big time. cheers KW Well said! Because that's the long and short of it!
Blackbart
Mcguiness was on the radio this morning and said in a joking way"maybe they are ex-IRA and miss the killing bit" Is he for real ? And if they are ex-IRA he will know who they are,but you can bet no names will be forthcoming from him.

cap1len
I have visited belfast as a tourist with the family twice in the last 12 months and could see a real difference it has become a very vibrant city for all the right reasons. a beautiful place with great people from both sides of the divide. I truly hope that this is an isolated incidentboth sides have to much to lose in returning to the old ways. sympathies to families of all killed or hurt len

hambone
Was out in ireland fishing a couple of years back, got to drinking with a crowd of local boys and recall a comment passed by one of them that the terrorists were more like gangsters and there was to much money involved for the violence to end. sympathies to families of all killed or hurt. Taff Mason
mcguiness & adams well know who did it because their still running the show pair of *ASTARD Mcguiness was on the radio this morning and said in a joking way"maybe they are ex-IRA and miss the killing bit"Is he for real ? And if they are ex-IRA he will know who they are,but you can bet no names will be forthcoming from him. too right they knows who they are! the fact that they gunned down these people, THEN went forward and finished them off shows that they are trained and have probably done this before. no ordinary joe bloggs who hates the peace process would have the clarity of mind in that situation to do such a thing. we know it was ''the antrim brigade'' of the RIRA, and surely mcguiness knows who is still active and capable of this sort of thing in that area. he and others could easily point the police and other services in the right direction, just as they could of countless times before with other crimes but they wont!! they should never EVER be allowed to be in politics. especialy in the positions they are. he said on the radio today that they are are privi to inteligence reports!!! however sensored these reports may be i sure as hell don't want these people reading them. thay can never be trusted!! digger
I hope the killers die a long slow painful death. Would be interested on Livingstones take on this as he welcomed the vile scum over here when he was Mayor of London. Adams looks like he needs a good dose of cancer.
