I've moved house now and renewing my license is an issue. Did i sell the gun to you? When he did I signed it all over to him and duely informed the police what had happened. When I came to renew my sgc some years later is was asked where this Miroku was? I explained that I had sold it and who to (which is where we differ) and told them that I did send the form in recorded post. They then looked up the person who I said i sold it to and he had the gun registered to him soeverything was OK. Yes you may get a bit of grief from the police for not doingwhat you should have done but most FEO's will understand and they should be able to search their system for it anyway. Recorded delivery gives you a trail though to be fair even if its not correct they usually assume its their cock up and as long as you've sold to a license holder they don't make a fuss about it.
