caplock
Hi Paul Bought an escort auto back in Jan and have put about 3000 rounds thro it so far. Everything from 24g No9's to 2Oz BB without a fault. The gun has been used for everything from skeet to Fox shooting and has been a good purchase. Edgars also supplied a new half choke after I had damaged the threads free of charge. Good value compared to the other offerings available. Recommend it to anyone especially with the three year gurantee! Cheers John.
lrm1
I started a thread on theses a few months back under a different name and having read all the reports will be ordering one, I did not realise that they came with a three year gaurentee I was quoted £290 for the mossy oak one with three chokes from my localish dealers. I was waiting for paul's reply as you had just bought one and were waiting to try it out. Good website bit of everything on it! cheers..... lrm1
Well I finally got my gun last month and am very pleased with it, a lot of gun for the money and guarentee, I would have paid more for secondhand of the same spec and a lot less guarentee. It seems well built and even the gun shop was impressed and have sold quite a few and reckoned the price will start to climb as they become better known. Thanks for all who answered the thread back last year................
jonno 357
Just got back after testing it out, had it 4 weeks so found some pigeons anyway fits really well had 80 shots got 52 birds found it really comfortable to shoot so light you can just point it any where, what a great gun for not so much money compaired to the barreta hell of a gun best value for money at only £350 with 3 years warranty. I have the same shotgun. The turks seem to be making some tidy guns lately. Others also to consider Yildiz semi auto and the Stoeger semi auto. Very similar to the Hatsan The Yildiz retail for around the £350 -£375 mark and the Stoeger is a little more expensive at £450. IMO the Stoeger seems a better package. Its backed up by Benellis customer care service. And as we all know the yanks love there pump action and semi autos shotguns so its no suprise that Benelli have seen how good the Stoeger is and taken over marketing the shotgun in the states The Stoeger Model 2000 is licensed to use Benelli’s Inertia Driven™ operating system — the heart of the world’s most prestigious and expensive autoloaders. Unlike common gas-operated guns whose fore-ends conceal pistons, O-rings, valves and other moving parts, the inertia-recoil system is entirely contained inside the receiver. The results? A trimmer fore-end, better balance, more reliable operation and the ability to fire everything from light target ammunition to the heaviest waterfowl loads without adjustments. And because propellant gas isn’t vented from the barrel, Inertia Driven™ guns like the M-2000 stay cleaner, even after hundreds of shots. Even in the toughest conditions, your new M-2000 will keep on firing Both Shooters are available retail in the UK Jonno I know what your thinking, wish I'd bought the Stoeger I did Edited March 9, 2005 by jonno

lrm1
Hi there, do not know where you are, but Edgar Brothers import them and most gun dealers get guns from them, they are wholesalers only. I know York guns get them in and I got mine from Weldon Gun up north of Morpeth for £290 depends on the mark up by the dealer, have seen them up to £350. There are a few threads on this site about them and I am really pleased with the one I got a cracker for the money....... lrm1...................
