Yes. I'll never register on there again after that. It is a shame they have such a stranglehold on the market, so many gunshops using them for inventory management it seems. Too big to fail. I'm very upset my private data was released to the dark web and especially that they were warned of the weaknesses in their security long before the data was hacked, and did nothing to safeguard it. Roll the company into liquidation and phoenix another one with the same intellectual property and website asset etc, to avoid financial if not moral liability for this breach.
  2. Amazing shooting, I hope you avoided lying in the cow pats (you were at risk of a pat on the head at times)!
  3. That money might buy you a BSA Lightning XL which is a far nicer rifle.
  4. I never got on with Beretta OUs but after trying a Browning 525 I had to have one. Some people seem to get on better with one or the other of the 2 brands. I've had mine since 2008 and it is a keeper. If the gun fits you & you are confident with it, you won't go far wrong. Maybe check out guntrader for used prices? How much does your friend want for it?
  5. Stood amongst some laurel waiting for magpies with my shotgun when a large female squirrel appeared on an ivy-covered oak about ten yards in front of me. As it paid the price of its indiscretions another scuttled around the tree. I waited for about twenty minutes and the second one, a male, emerged from the ivy to look at me, which was its last glance. I set them out in the field hoping to lure a magpie. Two came into the adjoining trees but only one came down to the bait. I waited for the second to join it, but the first one spooked so I got neither. Sorry not airgun but next time....
  6. Another great video, inspired me to get out on the magpies around the farm soon. Looks like 12 ft lbs will be more than enough for this, especially if I can hide in a farm building and zap them at a reasonable range. Interesting to see the variable power in action in the field too. Thanks!
  7. Had a fun morning drey poking in the snow today. Three guns and a pole master .. got 9. 710
  8. Thanks @Ultrastuand @Mice! I'll stick with my .22 then - 16 gn AA DF do a more than adequate job at the sort of ranges I need.
  9. I'm looking forward to getting back into the woods now the pheasant season has finished. There's a feeder to repair, and we're having a drey poking day soon. I wondered if anyone uses FAC-rated .25 cal on squirrels? Would limited pellet choice make it best to stick with .22? I presume .25 uses more air as well.
  10. Nice stuff, unusual sort of permission I would imagine.
