when i was young i used to stand all the time.....as i matured i used a shooting stick...then i got older and sat on a nice chair............nowww im on a bloody sun lounger....

Technically speaking ...he is right..........driving on CMS can loose your subs/payments...also farmers have been warned about using CMS as turning areas...also..i think you are only allowed to shoot pigeons as crop protection...so if you are shooting them on a none crop area i assume you are breaking he law...bit of a grey area... as Motty rightly says "a strange attitude for a farmer to take".........................as said elswhere....start looking for another permission....... The reason i have contributed to this post is a few years ago...my farmer mate asked me to stop driving on the CMS as i had left wheel marks when wet and as a result when it was inspected and measured for payment they told him if that happens again payment will be refused...since then i only use the CMS when its dry...or frosty i rekon the farmer has had a warning....in any case it maybe time to move on...

if you rekon that is good for the back....all i can say is "you must be on strong prescription drugs".....MMmmm yummy...

cant beat the stuff you wipe on...let it dry and buff off............ all this new fangled stuff................i use "mainly" engine oil mixed with parafeen for a good lusty look...and raw linseed oil for the plastic bits...or vaserline

are you doing the pest control as a bit of extra work (on the side)........or as a carreer....?

a Lanber is a good gun to start with...............i shoot sxs always have done i have aya 4..........a side by side is more difficult to learn to shoot than a over and under....try before yo buy..

There is a well known pigeon shooter....think its will garfit................he went down to the dump and bought 3 secertary swivel chairs...the ones made in the 60's/70's....with 3 steel legs plastic seat and arms and back rest.....he puts them out and leaves them in his postitions.....he rekons they are the best shooting seat known to man/woman

if the shooting is busy....i shoot and leave them to lay there.....if the shooting is slow i go out and position them and remove a plastic................ At the end of the day the farmer asks me to keep ontop of the birds and push em on or kill them.....if i lightly shoot a bird and it goes down then starts to walk about again...i give them another barrel....i dont have dogs anymore so i dont have the luxury of picking pricked birds anymore...so i do the best i can and shoot as many as i can...and if they are still well alive they get a 2nd shot on the ground...............ok its not very sporting...but im there to do a job.........not everybody will agree with those sentiments...but there you go....

And the lads that were slaughtered and vapourised by munitions....were a heck of a lot younger than her !..........it is good that people of her age can stop and think what went on ...and why it happened................hasnt made any difference really............but it should be remembered ...respected

I have no known connection with the 1st world war......odds are i do but unaware of it.....always find these live tributes/rememberences very moving /unsettling............. The camera was as usual panning around the worthies.....the good and the great.......constantly panns back to Kate Middleton ....whose head is continualy down.........then the last shot comes in.....and she lifts her head........................ im quite shocked.............she has either been caught up in the moment...or she is supporting a look that i have seen before.....a look that says.. "i dont really want to be here doing this stuff"......the look is of shear turmoil........ anybody else pick up on this ?
