If this person had committed suicide by driving a car into another where we could see the physical injuries of his victims (in the other car) I doubt anyone would have any sympathy with him or pass it off as him not thinking straight, why should this be any different? His victims in this case will have psychological injuries and trauma, those closest to the event may never be able to do their jobs again, and outwards it radiates thru several layers until it reaches those who merely lost a day or two's shooting. Doing this kind of thing is selfish in the extreme, and yes I have seen the effect suicide has on the relatives of the person committing the act. That is the real tragedy, the ones left to deal with such an appalling act. My deepest sympathy goes out to all those closely involved whether at Kibworth or his family and friends, they must feel truly awful right now.

I was given a fair few of these 30g no 5s last week by a generous chap and promised to chrono them for his piece of mind as he didn't seem to be knocking stuff down very well with them. Today I tried them over the chrono and was amazed to find they were only doing around 685FPS on average. I tried my home loads to double check and they were fine at 1040FPS. I hardly think they are suitable for shooting live game at a distance as they were bought for and the chap inquestion had bought 1000 of them. He ain't gonna be happy Any thoughts

considering re-loading for .410

Claygame will email you recipes for any gauge for £1 and will sell you all you need to make them. Guilandi H17 or H21 plastic wads work well and dont take up too much room in these tiny cases. They have no petals to hook up in silencer baffles either and so are safe to use. -
******* down in Kettering too. I was going to do some clays at kibworth but apparently that's shut anyway due to someone topping himself on the skeet range yesterday.

Just got a Beretta 391 Urika that has a 22mm thick recoil pad. I think the gun would fit me much better if it had a minimal one so... What is the thinnest Beretta recoil pad that I can buy and how much would I expect to pay Cheers
-
Does that mean it is only 3yrs old Cheers

Remarkable -
You might find they are one and the same, some dealers add the length of the mod and some don't to make them sound shorter than they really are.

Nobel number 80 shotgun powder

Isn't that about perfect for a 1 1/8th oz load -
Let's agree on that Can't be bothered with pointless arguments

You don't need an 8" knife to do this, it's not an elephant. If you've got a knife that's up to dressing out a deer then that is big enough. I often wonder how many people on here actually hunt at all
-
I think you are talking out of your **** to be frank. A knife behind the shoulder into the chest just above the elbow is quick and effective. To suggest slitting its throat is slow, messy and cruel. This isn't halal roe for chris'sakes

I believe that Lyalvale 2 1/2" have a shortish shotcup that will probably travel thru the mod OK but reckon that the 3" ones might be a problem. Just look down the barrel after each shot to make sure it is clear and you shouldn't have a problem .410 is the ideal calibre to get a little reloading set up together then you know exactly what they contain and it will be far cheaper aswell
-
Actually plastic wads are fine as long as they don't have very long petals I reload using Guilandi H17 and H21 plastic wads with no problems at all
-
Don't mess about with sticks If it's that sick put a knife behind its shoulder
-
Seems like this one is 2000 then Any idea of its value
-
I have just noticed that it has BN stamped inside a little box next to the proof marks on the barrel. I first thought this may be some kind of nitro proof mark but it seems it may denote the gun was made in 1999 unless anyone knows differently. Beretta denotes AA as being 1974 and I can't see how it could possibly be that old
-
Does anyone know what the age of a Beretta 391 Urika with a serial number prefix of AA is and what it is worth boxed in fair condition set of chokes etc, not mint but pretty good. I assume the number prefix is what denotes the year of manufacture Thanks

If you look on his website he offers an email service where he sends the recipes for each calibre for £1 each. Seems like good value and saves paying for stuff you will never use

where have all the pigeons gone ?

Seems you only have to disturb them once and they'll move to somewhere quieter. They have millions of acres to choose from. -
good supplier for reloading

whats the best load for a moderated .410

The lead shot is unaffected by the ported barrel Where did you read otherwise -
I just got a second hand 20g Escort as a mooching gun, at -6 lbs light as a feather and points a treat. I barely notice it cycling as I pull the trigger and the extra shot is handy. Long term who knows but it is definitely nice to shoot
-
I patterned mine the other day and found imp cyl to be very open so I have changed it to Mod. I would suggest you get a large piece of cardboard and pattern yours at the ranges you intend to shoot and see how many holes you have in the pattern and adjust accordingly

Got it sorted now thanks Just been up the farm and banged a few thru it, worked like a charm
