The Jewish community has always been strongly labour in the past, not so now, but I have never really understood why they supported labour in the way they did.

Suprisingly Jon Lansman comes from quite an Orthodox Jewish background, he must walk a strange tightrope

Thats Corbyn all over, never admits anything was wrong, he came close to suggesting the report was a stich up

massive difference in the price of the ammo. You can buy a good .22 rifle for under £50, whats not to like?

The so called comedian was complaining that Sunak did not represent "brown" people's interests. Lets just stop and consider the implications of that statement for a moment. She obviously thinks that he should. Left wing comedian Gordon

I've been more interested in reading about the report on anti semitism in the Labour Party thats out today. Lots of people trying to brush that one under the carpet By rights, Corbyn should be kicked out of the party but I can't see that happening

Grange gun company, redditch. Any info?
Vince Green replied to bicykillgaz's topic in Guns & Equipment
I always assumed, given the geographical proximity, that the grange .410 was a Webley with cosmetic changes. The company was not in existence for that long, only founded in 1958, i would find it hard to believe they built their own guns from scratch or that they had the resources to do so. That sort of work could have been farmed out so easily and so cheaply to the Birmingham Gun Trade in those days -

Not having to mix with my extended family at chrismas is a bonus as far as I am concerned. Don't take me the wrong way, I don't dislike them but Christmas has become such a ritual over the years it will be good to break the habit -

I ready that report but its not really that exact, its based on two random tests, one in June and one in September. The first test detected 6% had antbodies the second detected 4.4% Its certainly disappointing that the figure hadn't gone up significantly but as they were both random samples there is no real way of knowing if they represent a true comparison like for like. -

Changing the subject a bit there was a discussion on breakfast TV about whether lockdown restrictions should be eased for Christmas? Errr no! thats the whole point of having a lockdown. Another man was saying the lockdown in Leicester will have to be lifted for Diwali. People do not appear to be taking this whole thing seriously. Like its some sort of game we can play if we choose to -
You are not thinking of the old Tayside Reloader are you?

There is a huge new Lidl opened up a couple of miles from here on the site of what had been a Homebase. Its really good, vast space inside, wide aisles, good size car park but still only two checkouts open most of the time. The quality of the food is really good and you do save a small fortune but you can't escape the queue -
No Spain alone is allowed to take much more fish out of our waters as we are, I think its about six times as much. Then there is France, they are allowed to take much more than we are, and Belgium and Holland. Out of OUR waters Its the most graphic example of bent legislation on the part of Brussels, albeit many years ago. Come to Cornwall and I will get my fisherman mate to explain it all to you.

Fishing is a classic example of everything that is wrong with the EU. You are right its small in financial terms but it shouldn't be

Now that the payment holiday on mortgages and credit cards in coming to and end, the furlough scheme finishes and the moritorium on evictions ends we are going to be faced with an absolute tsunami of debt. And its not going to be nice, its going to be absolutely tragic.

I worked all day Saturday in a supermarket to be able to buy 30 Baikal or S&B Mk11 cartridges. Only trouble was I didnt get paid in time to get to the sports shop about two miles away to buy them so I could go shooting the Sunday.

Trump has very successfully used his position to block a lot of investigations into his dealings, to be able to finance a presidential campaign these days both sides have to get into bed with very undesirable people.

They have food stamps in America called SNAPs, there is a lot of stigma attached to being on them but people are still able to sell them on the black market or trade them for drugs or alcohol. Whatever the system a whole network of fraud and misuse grows up around them
