I think I hold the record on here, I know eleven including my OH's cousin who have died. Several former work colleagues according to the retirees website, a couple of my former customers, plus my old next door neighbour who only ever went down to the paper shop and back. My mate died in a care home early on, he was recovering from a stroke but otherwise in reasonably good health. It sounded like C-19 but I don't know if he was ever tested. my ex wife's cousin has just come out of hospital, for a while i thought she was going to be number twelve. Interestingly, she was probably the oldest on her ward when she was in there and she is 43. She is far from recovered, although covid free now, she has still got a lot of problems.

Brilliant news, its been a huge grievance in Cornwall The fish stocks are not bad I am told but the real problem has been Spanish and French trawlers were not being controlled properly by their own Countries. Allowing them to exceed their quotas and land undersize fish by turning a blind eye to wrongdoing on a massive scale.

Early in the first lockdown they were stopping people on the A30 going into Cornwall but it was a token thing because they couldn't really do much to stop them . They did however get a lot of information about people operating holiday lets and AirBnBs who shouldn't have been. About 200 establishments were fined.

where ever you go "allegedly" you take your tier status with you. So a tier 3 person from Bristol drives down to Cornwall (Tier 1) they are still subject to Tier 3 restrictions like not mixing in households or going to pubs and restaurants. My TV does not have to connect to an antenna, it all comes through the cable or internet these days but once you have a subscirption and a password to log in with you can watch it on your phone or ipad. So these arguments are getting a lot more complicated

That is not uncommon apparently, an American policeman friend of mine years ago told me many people who try to commit suicide do so by putting the gun to the temple and pulling the trigger. The shot then passes below the brain rather than into it. The injury is catastrophic but far from immediate death. look in the mirror and you can see how it could be like that.

A lot of those low offers are just vultures. Many distressed sales (as they are called) are taking place because people are in difficulties. If you are really desperate you might just take a silly offer because you have no choice. The problem is if the neighbours sell cheap it devalues your house as well because everybody checks the history of sales in that road now.

Some twenty years ago we were taken by a friend to a clay shoot in Cyprus. I could write a whole page about what we saw and we were only there an hour. People walking about with guns unbroken.
