How much does the licence cost you for your boat on the Thames? I wouldn't mind licencing a dinghy on the Thames for a few days out in the summer

Thats called splodge where i come from, packet soup, add dried onions or mushrooms thicken to porrige consistency with instant mash, add tin of mince, meatballs, chicken or whatever, add tin of mixed veg or baked beans

Yes but even back then the police had evidence that would catagorically have cleared Kiszko but failed to disclose it to the defence,

Ammonium Nitrate is a common agricultural fertiliser. It is not regarded as an explosive substance. Evidenced by the fact you will find it stacked in farmers barns up and down the country with no restrictions. The IRA used it as a component in improvised car bombs by mixing it with It diesel oil and packing it into gas cylinders. I believe the talaban did the same. Very suspicious

Virgin Atlantic filing for bankruptcy in USA. Its Chapter 15 which is a half way stage, it prevents creditors seizing their assets.

Bit like the outbreak of the covid virus in China, they are only going to tell us the version they want us to hear

All the pest controllers round here, including the council ones release the foxes they catch. They advertise it as humane, its a big selling point. If you want to get a council contract the councils usually insist on humane. Very few pest controllers are interested in foxes, its too time consuming compared with the money they can make from rodent infestation. They can make hundreds of pounds a day from rodents with little effort, the rodents kill themselves Anyway, it would be difficult for a pest controller to legally kill a fox and expensive to dispose of the carcass. Three miles up the road and job done If you are going to put them in the back of your vehicle put something like a good plastic sheet down first, they stink

The initial fire looks like it could be fireworks, lots of little yellow explosions and white smoke
-
Being Beirut it could be almost anything that went up fireworks use black powder and black powder is not a high explosive. The explosion on the TV showed a clear high explosive pressure wave.

The two day figure doesn't mean that everyone gets rejected but the number of applications that are obviously fake get eliminated right at the start and not left to clog up the system for years.

It is totally legal to release foxes. In many ways the only way to deal with it. Thats what all the pest controllers I know do with them.. They only take them a couple of miles up the road Fire a gun in a built up area such as london at your peril. Your choice, I have no interest if you do or you don't but I wouldn't risk it,

Its not about limping back to the pits down the non competitive areas of the track to get home. Its about contiuing racing a car that was patently unsafe. But he pulled it off so winner takes all.

Urban foxes are virtually always being fed in the London suburbs. That makes them very tame Very dodgy to shoot them, it may be legal but the Met Police won't take your side if there is a complaint. Chances are they don't even know what is legal and what is not so you risk a massive over reaction from them if it all goes wrong. Cage traps very rarely catch the older foxes but if you do just take them a couple of miles up the road and release them

What I was alluding to is the fact that he wasn't just limping back to the pits down the outside of the track,, he was still racing as fast as he could go and on the racing line. When interviewed after the race said he nearly lost it on the last couple of bends.so he was still pushing it. I'm not sure that falls within whats allowed or not but he pulled it off so winner takes all. Also, I would like to add my voice to complaints of mixing politics and sport. The cause doesn't come into it

Regarded by some as anti semetic but I wasn't trying to get into the rights or wrongs of whether Israel should exist or whether its civilised. It comes down to basic efficiency of the process. If Israel can process an assylum claim in two days what justification is there for ours to take years? decades even?
-
Exactly! even Hamilton couldn't get past it
-
Hamilton was incredibly lucky to pull it off but he was always a lucky driver. I'm not so sure about the legality of continuing to race after that puncture but nobody is going to say anything about it now. At the end of the day, as you say, its a spectators sport and it was a good race to watch I still fancy one of those AMG63 GTs (pace car)

Technically thats both true and not true. You can buy, sell and own virgin barrel blank with no licence and no comebacks. However, some creepy bit of legislation to do with deacts says that anything that has ever been part of a firearm cannot cease to be covered by the firearms act until it has been signed off by the proof house. Very muddy thinking
-
Is that an anti Semitic comment? Why is Israel uncivilised? Just because they have a highly efficient system for processing applications?

I couldn't think of a worst way either not a lot of masks being worn there -
PPU is not usually a problem. We have used thousands, next thing to try is felt tip pen on the cases to check for areas of tightness. It might just be machining marks on the inside of the chamber.

Winchester Starline cases
Vince Green replied to steve_b_wales's topic in Bullets, Cartridges and Reloading
Starline is generally regarded as a bit of budget case, they make cases for a lot of the other big name manufacturers in USA. and have done for many decades Its hard to know who makes what and for who these days. If you order enough they will put your name on the headstamp. Back in the pistol days companies like Mountain and Sowdon and Zero used this feature. but if you do the maths you are better off buying factory loaded PPU ammo if you want empty cases at the end of the process and PPU cases are very good cases. Its often speculated that PPU make cases for a lot of the other manufactures in Europe now anyway including lapua. S&B make for Winchester but i don't rate S&B but I can keep pushing you GGG if you want and they are regarded as being as good as lapua by those in the know.
