  1. "Jobsworths" Muddy?-I call them something more Anglo Saxon-most of the police that I know don't give a toss about anything.
  2. Deffo 14 days, including weekends, from the day AFTER the offence. I would not worry too much as very few cameras are actually working at any one time-if you do get caught, check with your Insurance company to see if they are going to load your premium for the particular offence before deciding what course of action to take-I was done for an SP30 and when I rang my Insurer they told me that the offence was so common that they did not consider it when setting the premium.
  3. I'm dyslexic but even I know that you are not allowed to shoot Budgets-they're a cage bird.
  4. Most likely the way things are going-you could drive to the station and leave a message that you are being burgled/raped/mugged and they could get back to you with a crime number as soon as they return from catching heinous criminals who are blatantly doing 34 in a 30 mph area.
  5. TIGHTCHOKE-I did not say that WE flew either AC-which is a shame because they are both world class weapons platforms. My reference was intended to underline the fact that the main customer for the F35 and the nation largely responsible for its design and build, is having concerns over its worth, and lets not forget that they are keeping the best ones for themselves if the AC goes into service. Nice one ,Grayson-you made I larf
  6. I fail to see what effect or impact that DB has on our nation, Vipa, the guy has nothing to give now that his football career is over-do you really imagine that he has any worth as an Ambassador for our country ? He is a walking billboard for cosmetics and a Mercenary Mannakin .
  7. Mmmmmmm-the "new" F35 eh? First flown in 2006 and there are serious concerns over its small weapons capability and reliability not to mention the fact that it is up to the Americans just how stealthy our version is-they have been clear in stating that it will not be built to the same spec as the aircraft they will use (if, in fact, they use them-with the high cost and limited ability of the F35 suggestions are already floating around that maintaining the current fleet of F16/18's would be a far wiser, and cost effective, way to go) .The development costs on this AC are spiralling and I can see that many of its investors (and many countries are involved) will be getting worried about now-I certainly would not want to be building a Ship designed specifically for the plane
  8. I cannot help but wonder what "new" type of aircraft we are going to use? With a fair amount of RAF pilots being made redundant and ever increasing cuts in spending I can imagine the service raiding museums for obsolete aircraft-wait a minute-they have done that already. Air superiority gliders perhaps.....
  9. Congratulations sir,-my sincerest respect to your other half-I caught a Tope of the Welsh coast that weighed the same a couple of years ago so I know the sort of struggle that she went thru
  10. My thoughts exactly, huntsman, DB has not done anything that any self respecting man should do-knighthoods are like chocolate money these days -woman in our village got one for working in our tiny library for 25 years-lack of ambition I would say
  11. Save up a little bit more and buy a .177 Air Arms TX200-if you buy a cheaper gun you will end up trading up for a better one within a matter of months so why not buy a decent rifle from the word go? It will loose little in resale value and the improvement in power and accuracy will give you more pleasure as you use it. If you budget about £300 you should be able to pick up a gun that will last you a lifetime.
  12. Another one to avoid is Black Sheep Gold-the normal beer is very good but the Gold is really bitter.
  13. Can I add that I have been with Tesco for 6 years and have nothing but praise for their coverage and service-well done chaps!
  14. There seems to be an awful lot of talent that never gets anywhere-thanks to a certain talent show you have to either be willing to make a total idiot of yourself or have a sob story or both ( one of the top contestants at the moment clearly stated that she had never done anything like singing in front of people yet she has videos on the tube and has been singing semi pro for years). There's a young singer that was on BGT a short while back-Alex Keirl who cannot get signed up at all-listen to him sing Skyscraper on the tube and then count in your head how many talentless half wits are in the charts at the moment-not fair.
  15. I have the same gun/adaptor-lick your finger and wipe a little moisture around the inside of the adaptor-oil in this area could be risky.
  16. I bought 2 camera lenses last Christmas that were supposed to be delivered by this bunch of clowns-the seller used their tracking service but they still got lost and their customer services explained that tracking was not possible because "the items have been lost" ***!!!
  17. With the greatest respect Motty, and with over 30 years on pigeons, the birds in my area are ultra suspicious and will not respond ( majority of the time) to any decoy pattern that is not perfect. I have shot in other counties where you could think that the birds were another species because of the way they react (Cambs. for example) and bids in Norfolk may be easier to decoy than birds in Bucks (no disrespect to your ability to decoy birds) because of numbers, amount of people shooting at them or food abundance.
  18. Knowing my history with any kind of sock, I would end up with a load of odd ones
  19. Mungler-are you talking about my wife?
  20. Really pleased that you can manage with your right arm-I love mine, my sex life would be non existent without it
  21. Our local RSPCA rehoming centre refused to let us have a Jack Russell that would not stop licking my kids and wagging its tail in a frenzy because they simply did not know its history-its good to know that some organisations take responsibility. I think that the parents should face manslaughter charges and , unless the rehoming centre was lied to-they should face the same charges.

    Decent Flask

Bought a Coleman flask nearly 15 years ago-stainless steel-and its still going strong. If I put hot drinks in it in the morning they are still hot when I get back in the evening-steaming sometimes-cannot fault it
  23. As mentioned-a Gammy, sorry, Gamo would be a wise choice-you could, if all else fails, beat them to death with it -the barrels are normally rough enough to get a good grip on.
  24. Why can you not cock the gun with your right hand?
  25. I wouldn't shoot as they leave cos none of them are likely to return for a long time-they are not daft. If they are there then its for a reason and that reason will pull them back-walk them off and hope that they return in small groups-only my opinion mind.
