  1. The Gospel truth-my last boss used to smoke the odd cigar after a doctor told him that the smoke was less toxic and the occasional one would do him no harm. I watched him die of throat cancer about 5 years ago-he was 58.
  2. They have stacks of them in my local poundland-40/60 & 100,s
  3. Pluck the birds and compare shot placement on birds that were dead before they hit the ground and the ones that managed to fly away-any difference? You might also be blasting a hole clean thru the closer ones and the pellet is not delivering its kinetic energy (shock)-these birds then die of blood loss within a short time but enough to fly a short distance-try a softer/heavier/or hollow pointed pellet if you are in a situation where you are likely to encounter birds at shorter ranges (i.e. under a sitty tree).

Go for it, if you have both decided that there is room in your lives to give a child a loving future then you have my total respect and best wishes.
  5. I don't think it would be too difficult to re-drill and tap for a replacement foresight but if it were mine I would try and find a slip on moderator and use telescopic sights-this would be the better looking option.
  6. Never heard of this being done-I'm guessing that the barrel is brazed in place and I doubt that it would be cost effective to try and remove it-I have never seen replacement barrels for them either. With a relatively low value might I suggest that you buy another one-they are cheap enough on Guntrader.
  7. I think that if you break the Law, in full knowledge, then you should not be entitled to any protection from it.
  8. Easy if you have the time and a cutter (water cooled circular cutters are less than £50)-use a flexible adhesive and work from the centre of the room outwards-don't forget spacers if needed. When I do mine I usually do as large a central span as I can leaving enough room to walk around-let these set overnight then I work from this area outwards. Don't forget to alter the doors-easiest to just take them off and refit to the correct length once the floor is finished.

Happy birthday next year then 123*armour.
  10. Mine is all 22mm with "GAS" sticky tape around it every couple of feet-we don't have anything but 15mm pipe for water-even comes out of the ground as 15mm-I assumed they were different sizes to prevent confusion but I'm obviously wrong
  11. How do you know that "every" Rabbit will be shot in the head? To be so confident you must have put in a considerable amount of practise with your gun/pellet combo so I would suggest that changing pellets now, to a heavier weight offering, would be unwise?
  12. Gas pipe is a different diameter isn't it?
  13. "Drink the Beer"-but would it not taste of old balls and sand? On the other hand ,if you like John Smiths
  14. Not as polished as Evancho but I would say on a par vocally.
  15. Doesn't this theory depend entirely upon the size of your Jar? You have no control over its size and yet you always have the ability to break it.
  16. Mainly boring unless you are into the whole Bletchley triangle/spy schools thingy-grounds are nice but not this time of the year.
  17. I wish him well-you have to admire his dedication and achievements in F1 racing-most likely the best driver the world will see for a long time.
  18. Pretty sure that Crockett's favourite gun was a .48 that he had to sell to buy a horse when he started farming. Underdog-you have got to take a clip of that flintlock in action and post it on here
  19. I bought the fully synthetic last year-3x 4 ltr cartons for £30 for my Saab-I get my local garage to put it in when they service the car and it saves me about £30 each timer-win/win as far as I can see.
  20. I'm with mrs H on this-while you are watching sad films does she want to pop round mine for "tiffins"?
  21. Cos you're a dodgy character
  22. Simples, Underdog-you can get the exact size and in various widths and lubricated/dry for about £20 (inc. the o/s) for 500-thats going to last a long time. By the time you have made/bought your punch and wadding/card its surely more economical to just buy them from Mark Bonner or similar. When I first contacted MB I realised that the wad is a crucial part of the ML jigsaw and it pays to get the right wad from someone in the know-they work out at a few pence each so why not (unless you get pleasure from making them of course).
  23. I use a 13G sxs (most bp replicas are 13G-not 12) and have always used-powder/lubed wad/os wad/shot/os wad-If I were you I would seriously consider buying your wads and speaking to the guy at "wadsincorporated"-if you buy a couple of hundred they will last you for ages-BTW-use cheap windscreen wash to clean your barrel-Wilkinsons or similar stores do the stuff really cheap. You might also need a Nipple wrench-makes cleaning easier if you take them out.
  24. Wife has promised me a Ferrari up to £30k-gonna start looking in the new year- oh, and a DVD
