Hobgoblin-up at 7 for the pigeons so only a couple

I cannot believe that anyone, intelligent enough to put a gun in his shoulder the right way round, actually watches this garbage.
-
Unless you have bought the gun new,how would anybody ever know? I've bought several cheap guns over the years (normally Baikals) that are choked far too tight for my needs and simply cut the barrels down,an inch or so at a time, till the chokes are where I want them.Asked my local dealer about this and he said that the gun would require re-proofing but others I have spoken to say that this is Bullpoop.

Loads of people would suggest the AA S410 for one obvious reason-they are simply the best all rounder you can buy without spending loads of money. The S410 sits in a league way above the SMK that you have purchased.

I'm guessing that,as long as your car falls within his policy details regarding engine size, that he can drive your car but his insurer would only cover him third party.

Bin on most networks over the years but stayed with Tesco the longest.Had brilliant customer service from them and not once have I had a problem with the signal.

dan-250-just when I was about to give up hope of ever reading a non-biased sensible comment on this forum ever again-you come along.Could not have put it any better myself.

I'm guessing that the club will be over priced, over complicated, battery operated and no better than any other club available for half the price

As far as I am aware dumps are allowed to "recycle" (i.e.sell you) anything that is not hazardous or electrical (unless you are a trader).Comments regarding the potential safety of a cycle bought from such a source are a little pedantic-if you are not capable of examining a push bike with regards to its road worthiness then are you really safe to ride one?Oh,and by the way, most dumps have loads of sets of golf clubs if you fancy dipping your toe in that particular pond-our dump charges £5 each club or will do a deal for a complete set.

As long as you have proof that the buyer is over 18 (to cover yourself)then the post office will deliver it-not sure if its Parcelforce or Royal Mail but they will advise you.Normally about £12 but depends on the weight.

Last post on this topic from me Mr sitsinhedges. If,upon arriving for an evenings shooting, you discover that your rangefinder does not work do you go home? If you answer no and that you would continue but only take closer shots-by your own declaration of the vast trajectory curve does this not mean that shooting at any range, other than your chosen zero,is risky and carries a high probability of wounding. There are millions of "must have" accessories out there that dealers are only too glad to flog you-99.9% of which we can all do without.Apologies to OP for straying from your topic.

Anyone unable to judge the difference between point blank and 40 yards(real world effective Airgun range)and increments in between should have gone to spec-savers.Whatever next? Hows about a muzzle flash eliminator. Here's a crazy idea-zero at your normal range then put targets at 5 yard intervals -shoot at the centre and remember the difference in trajectory if sufficient to cause a miss.....Oh,wait a minute, most sensible people already do this

Get yourself down to your nearest recycling center (used to be called "dumps") and see how many nice bikes they have-our local one normally has about 10 decent bikes that just need a few pence spent on them-my entire family has bikes from this source and they were all £15 each.I.ve got a Carrera Vulcan (hand made Alluminium)that just needed the brake cables oiling-for less than £20- its worth more as scrap!!

Anti-Bacterial hand wash and a Range finder? Where have all the men gone? And as for a rangefinder-I can see the point if you have a rifle capable of killing over ,say,70 yards but with an Airgun?really? Travel light and with the bare essentials my friend.

The cz511 is a good gun and ultra reliable for not much money.Think carefully, however, cos some of them only fire subsonic rounds and you might want to use HV at some point.

Jesus H...this forum is getting more and more like a group of bullies everyday. The guy needs advice but mostly gets insulted by those who should know better. If you are concerned about doing the job properly chunk53 then seek help from a local shooter-if,on the other hand, you fancy being ridiculed by a bunch of berks just post on here.

The HW80, as manufactured, produces around 18ft/lb out of the box-the spring is changed to comply with our laws.Simple enough ,i would imagine,to get your licence then order a standard spring from Hull Cartridge?

Try youtube-normally loads of stuff like this-just put in "stripping the air arms s410" and you should find something.

Alpha Mule-no apology needed sir-well said and seconded.Tasteless remark not worth the time it took to read it.

Bin a keen motorcyclist for over 30 years but was embarrassed today to be associated with the clan in any shape or form.Remembrance Sunday is NOT the time to thrash your gaily painted rice burner around the countryside.TWO MINUTES is all the decent people of this world ask of you.....is that too much???

Many years back I was out pigeon shooting with a Navy Arms 12 gauge muzzle loader.Mid afternoon the fog came down and visibility dropped to about 30 yards so we moved to a small copse in the hope of catching a few if they came in to sit out the fog.A large group of over a hundred came in and for some reason (doubt they could see me)they spooked and I heard the clatter of wings as they pitched into one of the trees just outside the copse.Being determined to get a shot I wandered off in search of them and was soon face to face with the majority of the flock smothering a small tree (looked quite comical).Carefully lining up the nearest bird I let them have both barrels as quickly as I could pull the triggers and was deafened by the report of the gun and the sound of panic stricken wings.Picked up 12 with only a couple needing finishing off.Had worse days!

Without wishing to be piggy in the middle UKPoacher-would'nt tresspass be enough if a stranger arrives, uninvited, onto your property and is reluctant to leave? Personally I always say the same thing-"If you're selling I dont want it-If you're giving it away iv'e already got it"
