Yours are the clips I watch out for-with a bit of work I reckon you could make a saleable DVD-I would certainly pay for an hours worth of your filming.

As far as I know it would be illegal to post firearms in this way-whats to stop people posting ,say, shotguns in 2 or 3 parcels a few days apart? As the item has already been posted however,I suggest that he rings the manager where it was posted and ,calmly, ask him/her to spell their name as the police were looking to interview anyone who might be responsible for the theft of the firearm-A similar event happened to me a couple of years back with an Air Rifle(still classed as a firearm)-after I had spoken to the relevant manager my parcel arrived the following morning after being missing for 3 weeks-might just have been coincidence but who knows?

Any washing machine men on here for advice please
bruno22rf replied to harrycatcat1's topic in Off Topic
Run the machine at 90 degree,s with a biological powder at least once a month and avoid liquid detergents-if all else fails then try the vinegar tip or soda crystals. There is a brilliant website all about washing machines that is well worth a visit-washerhelp. -
I think i,ve had a few of these over the years-its a standard Baikal cartridge.

Anything with a muzzle velocity over 1600 fps is going to "crack" a bit! They would be a great round if they flew straight-if you want high velocity rounds that land in the same field try RWS high velocity hollow point-but they are like rocking horse poop.

The guy clearly knows more about rimfires than you-he spotted the Stingers and is aware that everything within a mile radius has an even chance of being hit-offer to let him stand directly in front of the gun-he should be safe there.

I think that watching a bucketfull of fat yanks shooting deer with bows/crossbows on youtube will remind us why it was outlawed-our world has moved on.

The Hungarian Relum,s sold well back in the 70,s because you could buy guns from mail order catalogues(such as Littlewoods) back then and the Relum,s were the cheapest.I dont think that your,s was one of the last models because the stock was improved on the last ones I recall.Powerwise,if yours is pushing 12ft/lbs then its been heavily tweaked-more normal output was in the region of 9-10.Weak areas are the breach seals and the leather washer which needs correct lube to prevent dieseling.

Got mine from the sponsors of this site-just down the road from Aylesbury-decoys with foam wings and tail that do the business.Bought mine a couple of months ago when they were flogging them off cheap cos some had got dirt on them!! Absolute bargain and great people to deal with.

Double post again-naffing compaq pc,s

Whatever you get do not forget to get a decent one-piece mount with an arrestor pin to secure the scope to the gun-it might also be worth tracking down a mount made specifically for the HW as the gun has a drooping barrel.

Now they will have cleared off and be doing the same thing on someone else,s land? Why not keep quiet and call the plods? There are procedures in place(oh,and a couple of laws)to deal with people like this :look:

Good luck to them-I hope it brings them everything that they want out of life.As for begging letters and phone calls-how naive can you be? private number and mail vetting would,nt even dent the interest on the winnings.

Dave-G I think you are getting confused with Tesco value lager-easy mistake to make as both similar in taste.

What rot indeed Canis-a quick count up on guntrader reveals the amount of HW 80 or 77,s for sale at £150 or below-not a single one.If your father px,ed his 80 for £140 then he should have sold it privately-he would have got a much better price, besides is it back up for sale at the same price?-I doubt it very much.We have all bought bargains before but they are few and far between these days and never seem to be available when you are looking. The extra funds and the ability to buy a PCP has nothing to do with HFT-are you suggesting that a hunting rifle does,nt have to be as accurate as a Target gun?-surely we owe it to our quarry to do all we can to achieve a clean kill and if that means a PCP,which is easier to shoot more accurately than a springer, then If the OP can afford it perhaps thats the way to go? I have seen, quite recently, a chap on this site buy an AA S410 at a price below what it would have cost to steal it-but more often I have seen beginners paying thru the nose and brandishing guns made of monkey metal held together with roll-pins.I honestly hope that the OP gets a bargain and spends many hours blatting critters but my advice is still to save a few more beer coupons and buy the best he can afford-I doubt that he could do much better than a TX 200 but thats only my opinion. :look:

Sounds like "organic" fertiliser to me-in other words human waste. If you look closely you can often see tiny pieces of paper in the mix. When you buy anything organic it is often grown using this waste product.I,m pretty sure that farmers get it free or may even get paid to use it?-must work out a hell of a lot cheaper than Nitrogen.

£150 should buy you a whole heap of junk (unless you get veeeery lucky). Most likely end up buying something that will last a few months and be inaccurate and underpowered.Sell everything you own to get another £150 and you can start to look at used big boys toys.If you are lucky you might pick up a PCP-something like the S200 would fall within your grasp and then you would start to see why that bit of extra cash was worth the effort.Springers to look out for would be HW 80,77,97-Air Arms TX200 or Prosport(both superb guns).Bide your time and try as many as you can-asking on this forum could save you a lot of heartache.

Most mobile paint chip repair companies should give you a quote-Chips Away-Car Medic-check your local directory or ask a local garage who they use.

Just a quick comment on Loguns and seal replacement-mine just coming up to 10 years old and has never had anything replaced (apart from the O ring on the filling probe-and thats not an original Logun part_)

If Wasps give you good accuracy and performance then why the discussion?-You have found a cheap pellet that does everything that is required of it.I,m guessing that they are most likely some of the original Wasps made back when the quality was what we had come to expect of Eley i.e. high.Later pellets became so bad that even sizing them failed to make them accurate and I stopped using them a few years ago-they have also been way outclassed by numerous new kids on the block-Air Arms,JSB,Crossman and practically anything made of lead that smells of knockwurst. Many of these makers are long established in the shooting world but all have made significant advances in the quality of ammo sold by your local dealer.Wasps,on the other hand, seem to have fallen by the wayside-shame.

Direct Line are competitive only if you are a low risk driver. The company "cherry pick" their customer base to ensure that their risks are kept to a minimum. If you dont shop around every year then you are losing money-many companies offer you a low initial premium in the hope that you will forget the next year when they will "auto-renew" your policy for you and you only notice the price hike when you see your statement (always insist that your policy will not "auto-renew").You can get a discount by restricting your mileage, passing your advanced driving test or by fitting a dogs dangly bits alarm/imobiliser.Dont be afraid to haggle-when your policy comes thru have a look at how much your actual insurance cost and how much extra you are being charged-scandalous!

Try covering it with Catsan cat litter.
