Have heard of them , think they are Italian , but I doubt you will find anyone who’s had one I certainly wouldn’t know of any , think you might be better sticking with something like a Ruger ,

I couldn’t agree more with the comments , esp the shots - kill ratio , don’t get that in your head just go out and enjoy ! If I can get out in the countryside and enjoy the day I don’t worry if I used fifty carts and came home empty , enjoy the day and good luck

This has been talked about for ages , a lot of people angry that there is change , no one likes change ! If they had done the surveys , the talks , the hear the opinions it would be as now divided , we would be arguing , fighting , demanding that basc fight tooth and nail to stop the lead ban , and for what it’s a fight we couldn’t win ! And we know it just won’t admit it , they have done the next best option given a time frame where we can still shoot as now but given manufacturers time to develop new products , we should try to stop all the in house arguing and all stand up together

Wasn’t it the government that pulled the general license under public pressure , wasn’t it the government that banned the sale of leaded petrol , wasn’t it a government decision to ban lead shot for wild fowling , then surely it would be a government body that decides a ban on lead shot would come in , all I’m trying to say is surely it’s better to do it voluntarily now get a four year breathing space and give manufacturers time to develop new and different alternatives , my understanding is that for clay shooters there is no change just those of us who shoot game , I think this is the right decision rather than everyone fighting it then suddenly ,bang , a ban appears and there’s still no range of alternatives

Anyone who didn’t think that a lead ban was on its way at some point in the future is dreaming ! What all the groups did was get together and pre emp this ! Nothing in law has changed at the moment , it’s voluntary and gives the shooting community time to adjust , to try different alternatives and to give all the cartridge makers time to find , develop , test and manufacture new carts it’s no good jumping up and down blaming basc or who ever would you rather have a four year breathing space or a complete ban in a year or so , done overnight , and leaving us in a situation like the withdrawal of the general licenses ! No one likes change , I don’t , I’d rather have the huge choice of carts we have now but give the cart manufacturers time , we will have that choice back ! And this is why this voluntary solution has come in !

The long and short of it is that we all know at some point there was going to be a lead shot ban , what all the organisations have done is got together to pre ems it happening over night it’s not coming into force at the moment , voluntary to 2024, so gives another four years for cartridge manufacturers to develope alternatives , more choice than we have know , my understanding is at the moment the concern is game shooting , clay shooting at clubs will be unaffected you can carry on even with plastic wads ! The market for lead shot game has been gradually shrinking now many won’t take it supermarkets etc bow to public pressure and we do need an outlet for the game that is produced , argue Til you’re blue in the face if the public won’t buy , dealers won’t buy and it leads to more anti shoot feeling when the game goes to waste I like most people wish we could carry on as before and not be lectured too or told what to do but it happens , it’s no good jumping up and down blaming basc or others for not fighting it , we now have a time period to still use lead shot while quality alternatives are found , tested , made and used or would you rather it happened overnight and lead shot was suddenly universally banned , personally I think this was the best way out

Yes you’re spot on , and that’s the very reason we do , that sort of info is ignored by the do Gooders like packham and co !

Hi when mine packed up needed one in a hurry , went to screwfix got a small 12v 7 amp batt for about £20 good enough for a day out in field , doubt it would last two but does the job

Had a hatsan synthetic for quite @ while , no problems at all , feeds everything I’ve put in it used mostly on the pigeons but have been clay shooting with it , multi chokes , 3 year warranty can’t gowrong

I know some people use a 28 g 7 on clays and pigeons , , , to most I guess this would be a clay cartridge and use a 30 or 32 g 6 on pigeons , think biggest problem you will find is not many clay grounds let you use anything bigger than a 28 g cart ,

Contact or brake cleaner from your auto parts store ,liberal spray, wriggle ,spray , wriggle don’t worry about leaving to soak it evaporates but will dissolve all the crud , you may need the mallet once charging handle is out there’s nothing physicals holding it , good luck

If I was you I would kick on and get it sorted , up and running , at those sort of prices I don’t think you would have any difficulty either getting a syndicate up or selling as individual days , that price is cheaper than a simulated day ! Don’t undersell yourself just to get it up and running I’d set a fair price and if all goes well it’s easier to lower a price than raise it ! Good luck

Did I just read that right ????? Anyone seen the ad on tele for the model spitfire build it in weekly parts ,now as above did I see that right 120 weekly parts at price of £9.99 first issue £1.99 so that equates to £1,200 .00 for the model !!!!!!!! You could have a go in the real thing for that sort of money
