  1. Arnie " givf me a pulse rifle with a 40watt range" Gun salesman" hey man we only got what you see on the shelves" I kinda like it, would I buy it? No.
  2. Bloke I saw at Canterbury Kent used to carry his K80 on.a.bike, had a courier document tube carried the barrel wrapped in that and the action in a similar oblong box, carts in the top box, assembled when he gets there
  3. I have an s410 sub 12 in .177, I waiting for my mate to make his mind up, serviced by a gunsmith last year, adj butt pad. I know you want.22 but if you want something different a caliber size is always a good way.
  4. Sorry about the delay, I didn't see the question, it uses Mobil screw in flush chokes,
  5. I had a HW 100,, absolutely fantastic gun Soooo accurate, but it was too heavy to walk about with, I have an S410k now, very nice, not so keen on the bolt action compared to the HW side lever and perhaps not as consistent, the HW was incredibly accurate
  6. With all the grade of guns you are paying for wood and machine engraving, the actual gun is the same so a silver pigeon 1 with the same dimensions as a EELL will shoot the same, just not.as pretty. My Perazzi is plain but is made to the same standard as their top guns, just not as pretty. How much are you planning on spending?
  7. I have CENS maybe 8 years now? 1 packed in after about 5 years and was repaired foc. Excellent kit and have clay and game settings which worked well when I used to pigeon shoot. Recommended
  8. yes it's his used stock and fore-end that is fitted to my gun
  9. mmm, maybe I should explain. I had a gun fit at west London gun school, and bought a fully adjustable gun, a browning ultra XS with a comb raiser and isis adjustable rear pad and set it up like the fit, shot it well, I wanted to "test" the dimensions to be sure , my plan was for my 50th to go to the Perazzi factory and get it all made for me , but I found a P gun at Chris Potters that would have been my order bar the stock, we swapped the stock which didn't fit for a high grade stock which was bigger than my needs and had it reshaped for my measurements. However I feel the grip isn't quite right, my hands are big and it's still a stretch to the trigger, I could buy a Perazzi short trigger at £300 but the grip still isn't quite how I'd choose. Having shot several raised rib guns I find that I have a clearer picture and would consider building it into my money no object gun. I also stopped shooting for a few years so just come back to it,I did shoot my best score with it the other day so it's "right" just I have to live with some other stock owners choice
  10. I'd keep my MX8 Perazzi, had it for only 7 years but it's a lovely gun, but I don't think it quite fits and I'd prefer a slight raised rib money no object would be a full bling Perazzi Hi-tech,
  11. My Perazzi MX8 has 30 3/4 barrel's, with extended choked 31" I usually just use the flush chokes, I've owned 28/30 & 32, It seems well balanced because I don't think about the gun, I've owned it for around 6 years+, it weighs 8lb4, I have good and terrible days with it. I think it's all in the head, shoot a gun long enough and all the details become irrelevant.
  12. It took me a while to work it out tbh, putting poor scores, bruised front of shoulder, to being a bit rusty and needing to get my eye in. I went to the West London shooting school,(Holland and Holland?)
  13. Evening all, brief history, been shooting probably 12 years, after multiple shottie purchases including the fabarm STL, and I think the XLR velocity high rib, I eventually bought a beautiful Perazzi MX8, 30 3/4 " barrel's quality stock which I had reshaped to fit my dimensions I got from a try-gun fitting from Chris potter around 6/7 years ago, and was pretty good with it I regularly used to pattern it and it centered 60/40 and even, I had maybe a 2 year break from shooting and returned late last year, but I'm having trouble as during the break from shooting I had a bike accident and broke my collarbone which left a large lump right about where the gun goes (obviously I don't mount a gun in my collarbone but it impedes the mount) and a neck injury. I have struggled with a conventional "low rib" my parazzi now pattern high and to the left I think this is down to the injuries.so think that I may be better returning to a high rib shotgun and adjustable comb, options are the fabarm XLR auto or maybe the zoli HR? thoughts would be great useful, cheers in advance
  14. That type 100 is the best. I have a lovely plain MX8, 30 3/4 with a high grade stock, formerly Chris potters personal stock. Mmm they do shoot nice
  15. I have a carbine ,177 that has just been serviced, less than 50 pellets since, has a moderator, Harris bipod, scope, pm me if interested
  16. Thanks that's sounds like it could work 👍👍👍
  17. Do you think fitting an adjustable end pad would do it, it's just shooting slightly to the left?
  18. I need to get more R/H cast, are there shims available to achieve this, I can find anything on d tinternet
  19. I stripped the gun several times to it's component parts not just wiped it down
  20. I was lucky enough to pick mine up, he'd bought it new for his wife about 20 years ago, she shot once and decided clays weren't for her, sat in the cabinet, not even a scuff in the feed blade under the action, couldn't believe my luck, I've put about 590 through it, immaculate condition
  21. I had an A400 that came with a 10year warranty, it wasn't worth the paper it was written on, randomly the gun wouldn't fire when the trigger was pulled, they had it back 3 timess and for months in total, said there was nothing wrong with it. Sold the thing, I have an original A303, fantastic gun, faultless, for £350 that's where the sensible money is
