Nice, looks in great condition, you gotta strip it down at least once, if only to clean out gunk from years of use. However it does say don't strip unless you have to, but I couldn't resist it on mine, just for my own piece of mind and to make sure everything was OK. Great gun it's good to have classics at the range.

Ver Very true when i go shooting with my old stuff they always start conversations as many people have'nt seen older guns of varying designs and are used to seeing O/U or Semi Autos, etc. Will do with a full report on the refurbishment. -

I'll do a video when i get it. I'm going to strip and re oil or varnish the wood and re blue everything so by the time i'm finished i should of wiped away 60 or so years of use all going well. I seem to like the classic stuff i've also got a Browning Double Auto from the 50's and WW Greener GP MK2. -
Anyone familiar with one of these 12 gauge bolt action 2 tube magazine shotguns,I've put a deposit down on one whilst i organize a RFD transfer. I really like the 2 shot tube fed magazine system rather than a box type mag it also comes with H & R vari choke system looks like a Mossberg C'lect choke system. From research there was 3 models all based on the same action with slight wood variations these are the 348,349 deluxe gamester and the 351. Anyone with experience of shooting and owning one your input would be appreciated ,cheers, Mark.

Any tips for squeezing more guns into a cabinet?
klatuveradanikto replied to Wingman's topic in Guns & Equipment
I store my spare barrels in the door recess of my cabinet using terry clips coated with heat shrink to protect the barrels here are a spare Mossberg 500 and Browning double auto barrels. In the cabinet is room for my next purchase a 12gauge bolt action. -
