Have you thought of an office chair, the hydrologic type, and fixed to a sheet of ply.

Tel the tight **** to stop being a door handle and sort out the £pay rise. Sounds like he's got that deal as a back hander and by offering it to you he's saving a packet.

Sorry, it must be my poor eye sight these days, but your out decoying pigeons on stubble, the winds pretty good, you get some coming in directly in front there shifting a bit 40 odd MPH, Now is it just me or could all of you pigeon shooters with more experience that me tell if a feral racing pigeon (because thats what they have become) has joined in on the raid on the grains left on the field. Woould i shoot one delibrately No !!! have i shot any by accident I dont know i could see

Best scope for day and night shooting on a .223

But allot less problems with the higher end priced variables, the chap does not want a fixed, i understand why, none of mine are fixed, its personal choice. there was a second hand Leupold for 450 that may suffice, but there again some folk slate them off. -
Fair few went out last night but getting pd off with my HMR at the mo, swapped my scope over so I could use the archer but s few problems arose and only ended up with 12, should have had loads more. It needs sorting.

We use Henrys at work. They're on the go up to 6hrs a shift.we have a fleet of about 30.

Well done Simon, i failed last night saw B all,fox wise I thought the second picture was going to be better than the first, looks like the lens could do with a clean.
-
I was out last night with a 22.250 for Fox's and archer nv using a nm800 , i didn't see any fox's but rabbit's well, put it this way will be back tonight on the rabbits. Using the nm800 i could get to 10 feet off a rabbit, it just kept chomping on the grass. Grandalf, look forward to meeting you again, enjoy yourself i am sure you will.

You can't tell me that when allot of these celebrities had young girls throwing themselves at them, they actually asked them for proof of age. And most of them I bet would have lied about it anyway then openley bragged about having hanky panky with a celeb.

Hi Simon, it's another 22.250 with 1-12 twist was built for nv and planned to load using 53 vmax but can't get them so tried some60s they seem ok ;;-) p's it's a tikka m55

yes not had a problem with the nm, twice had fox's run from the laser, neither i must add were shot at. Just rang permission to let them know I'll be round later. See if I can clear up some more.
-
Have you found the laser spooks fox,s, i shoot mainly on well lamped permissions and allot of wise fox,s any flick of a lamp and they're gone. That's one of the reasons for the spend

Depending on light source 150yds is easy.. I was out last night with mine, the first time out with it since receiving it last Wednesday. My setup is on a 22.250 leupold vxlll 4.5-14×50 NM 800 in. Archer is used as a spotter with the firefly as the light source for this purpose only as i have found it does spook them. (my permissions are mostly second hand if you know what I mean) Once spotted the archer,s put back on the scope for the final deed using the nm800 and called into range, They will come in to silly range as long as your quiet and they don't wind you. Brilliant bit of kit. 3 on my first night out with it says enough.

Give it a GOOD clean, and start over again, then see what the results are like compared Then ask the same question. It may have an effect on both your group and your question.
-
Well done Ben on the shooting, you seem to have sorted out the teething problems,

After having a couple of blank night's (probably down to the over zealous pest control) i went out on some freshly cut stubble and spotted some eyes out at around 100yds or so, not hanging around probably the smell of diesel fumes blowing there way. Driving beyond them and eventually getting down wind from them i got set up with my caller with some new all improved !!! special offer!!! calls added. It wasnt long before one decided its go to check out the creature making that noise. That sat at about 60yds. It's mate was no were to be seen, well at least for a while. It soon showed itself around 100 or so yds around 20 mins later. With 2 in the bag and 22.20 I was happy so picked up the 2 and dropped them under the back of the pickup. Before I went for the caller I had a look over the hedge using the Archer and firefly there was another pair of eye's, Oh! could be in for a 3 some, this one wasn't moving,it had some suspicions, I was the wrong side of it, it could get a wiff of my after shave if I wasn't careful the smell of "brut" may just make it turn tail and run. The only way for this was to stalk round to get a shot on from the left hand side and get out of the wind. Eventually I got in a good position but had difficulty judging the range, normal when using NO so I,my informed, front chest would or should meet the mark, it did. All 3 dropped motionless, was trying some 60grn very max through my 22.250 for a change.

Ask FLO if they're going to allow the 308 for Fox then. My bet is it will be a NO. Then tell them you have a bloody good reason to own the one's you have, it is obvious you know why you have the calibres you have chosen.

PLEASE can somone tell me what these mounts are called
Dougy replied to bikemad24's topic in Guns & Equipment
Quite a few bases from Leopold are different sizes/lengths. If they're slightly different hights they could be off a ruger. 77 cf Can't see a big picture as i'm on a phone. -
Had you ever thought that in the first group it could have just been 1 pellet that had key-holed hence the wizzzzing noise and your othershots missed tthe paper all together.
-
No. I did once by mistake, and believe me I don't ever want to do that again. It had been weeks since I last took the rifle out of the cabinet, a mate's dad had a look at it ( a shooter) and I handed over the bolt in it went and then we heard it. The click of a mighty 30.06 round being picked up from the magazine. So no I don't EVER.

No ,,,,, it's your mind that's thinking its wrong. :-)

I would make sure either you full length resize next loading or scrap your brass. Again a mention of using "SAND" in gun rests, it may not have been an issue here but cack on the cases or in the chamber could cause this. But more likely cases over large
