  1. I see what you mean about the crops, There's not much on them. NIce shooting, its nice to hit the long ones, the thud just a fraction of a second after the shot tells of a good contact
  2. Hey !!! we dont want any ruffy'uns coming, if he is coming we need to interview him first make sure he is OK. If he was banned for taking the Mick then its OK
  3. Dont forget unless there heating in there you could get an issue with damp, not very good around guns. So IMO attatched or not i would rather have the cabinet in the house.
  4. You will need to try s few brands I'm afraid til you find the one that groups. I have the same rifle and it's ok with hornady.
  5. I would think that they have broken there contract, i assume they have signed a written contract with the letting agency. If i were you i would seek legal advice on the matter. We let property and had issues with our first tennant, he refused to pay saying the house needed cleaning and we should pay the bill, after a few words he did pay the following day, in cash at the agency,(i told him i was a manager for a very very large cleaning company and to send the bill and we will come to an agreement, which i am) the agency at the time were rubbish. They have since improved allot. We are covered by an insurance policy against that type of matter. Its worth it for the small price. Best of luck
  6. Funny you say that,, it made me look a little deeper than the actual subject matter. The shadows in the back ground seem to be coming towards the Croc and gun, then look at the shooter's shadow and it seems to be going from left to right, no shadow from the Croc on the shooter side though, and his hand seems to be cupped and not actually touching anything. Sorry just a pooper
  7. Yes they are good and considerably lighter than the original one's. And give good sound suppression. Jet Z compact also good, it's a hard choice picking the best, they all do the job they are designed for, but some are better than other's.
  8. I will (thats if any of you are interested) make some sausages for the weekend, i could make just normal sausages, well a little better than your normal sausage. (i hope) i thought of trying some rabbit and pork, does anyone fancy trying and pork with a mixture of flavors, inc apricot, mango & chilli's, apple, and herbs simalar to Lincolnshire. PS Sparkie if you can get any bunnies in the next 2 weeks i will take them off you, just covering my base's in case i done get out text me if you get a few
  9. You must have someone local that could help you out, if not there will be plenty of folk there to offer a helping hand i am sure. As long as you bring payment of course
  10. Best check it with a GOOD size #2.A couple of bowls of all bran and a few pints of Guinness should be a good test . ;-)
  11. Yes. See if your RFD will just let you exchange, that's depending you don't have specific model & serial # quoted on your ticket.
  12. Knickers. That's not meant for you Chris, lol it's for fruity.
  13. I have been out of it for a few years now, but still do a bit for local farmers when asked. I would avoid the super markets as i dont really think they are butchers, give half of them a body of beef to cut and they'll run a mile. Do you want to do it all, from slaughter to plate as in cut and prepare, what we used to call master butchers, or just carcuss preparation. You may find it hard to get into due to the lack of butchers around nowadays, but there are still a few propper butchers just few and far between. Best of luck i enjoyed it for many years, i dont miss the money though, its a shame the hours were long with little reward money wise, may be times have changed.
  14. Ive not long finished my loads it amounts to around 200 x 22.250 75 x.30.06, 3 x 17HMR just for the egg shoot (wont need more mind you they are 3 of the best i've got) 2 just for practise and the last for the quail egg and a few 22lr. I should have a few home made sausages too not sure about the hold over for those yet as i have'nt done much on the range with them yet
  15. Yes its a one for one, your RFD could just swap it, i would certianly have a look at the ASE utra, they are more expensive than the Sak x2 but will out last them by miles, so long term better value. If its for a HMR then i would definately go for the ASE as the saks burn out prety quick, i changed mine after only 12 months.
  16. I think if your after a sly, cunning and very clever creature like a Fox there are times you need to arm yourself with as much knowledge as possible, not just a rifle and lamp. Getting to know the habits of both its hunting methods and habitats will increase your chances and IMO give you more respect for the Fox than just seeing it as something that needs to be killed because you want to.
  17. "Cold Night's & Warm Barrels" Another good tip is read up on the natural history of Fox's, the more you know and understand them, or any other of your quarry the better. That goes for fishing too.. ;-)
  18. While your at it,, if anyone is interested i have 60 Ltrs (approx), of 50/50 petrol and diesel mix, free, some body i know fluffed up filling there car.
  19. This wants moving to the joke section.
  20. I am glad I am not the only one with that feeling.
  21. From going on your posts I think you get back to a push bike until you can understand the highway code a little better. And while your at it try and see if you can pass your cycling proficiency test.
  22. why not just use a high seat, or just elevate your firing position so your firing into the earth it does not have to be that high. That to me seems the simplest of options
  23. I take it the comment was refering to having a dig at PC's, If so then i am afraid they should allready be aware that a few jo public are out to make public any silly fluff ups that the police force make, regardless of how trivial some may see it. If they are not aware of this then they need briefing ASAP or go back to the training school. If not then, well you left it to assumption !!!
  24. Just get some tarmac on it  I've got a few numbers you can ring from up here. There cheap but do a crackin job
