  1. They're not small you know, are you going up market this year and having a special aluminium sports box exempt from your baggage allowance jobbie similar to Lord and Lady Palmer for this toaster
  2. They do a special Marmite with gold in, I might treat you all to a jar, sandwich spread, that takes me back to the olden days, lovely stuff. How about a bread knife cut the rounds in half, less stodge, its a start. edit....... don't worry about the plug, miffy will wire it up the the light socket for you no problem

    Old stag Bowie

Looks nice, I found one i got nearly 30 years ago its similar size made by john Knowles from Sheffield, I was quoted around the £100 mark to buy another like it from a knife show at the MGF this year.
  4. +1 I soaked my sonic in some special stuff I borrowed from work, it changed colour from a nice dull, matt powder coated black to aluminium colour. So sprayed in with black enamel sorted. I returned the stuff I borrowed by the way it was rubbish.
  5. I was going to get a pink one from Weston, but allas I am obviously not in the same class as the great white hunters as have been mentioned ( nearly ) they were mega bucks, I thought they got them from Blackpool LOL Mung I will pack some special provisions just in case:- Batteries, mixed sizes. Boot laces, various colours, Hi vis vests, Bright Yellow, ( being colour blind I find orange blends in with the forna too well ;-) ) Cupa soup, Salt, just in case they don't have any left. Marmite, for flavouring. Ear plug's just in case it gets a bit noisy at meal times. Dogy bags.loads of.... Reloading equipment, just in case we run short of the mighties. Loo roll for external p00, s just in case one manages to sneak past the pork bung. Oh! I am so looking forward to it ;-)
  6. I know someone after a press if the price is right. If you find out how much you want. Thanks
  7. If you get "done" for carrying or have a "stanley" knife in your car then i think there would be other issues other than just "a stanley knife" being in your possesion. I cannot personaly see the point in having any blade whilst out shooting any longer than 3inches,or even 2inches, unless you need to dispatch BIG Reds.
  8. I have been beating quite a few times in the past and countless times i have seen the bottles and flasks get handed round with all mixtures of warming remedies promised with a few sipps of the contents. This is at the end of most drives, then a meet for lunch at the bothy and even more drink, obviously its all low alcohol or zero, rite it is and every body has a breathaliser test before the next drive. Who is to tell if someone is intoxicated " let him who is without sin cast the first stone " Lets hang the guy and have done with it i say. Just to say when i say beating its been at some pretty big shoots, and smaller Pub syndicate type shoots
  9. I hope to catch loads of piggies on a gopro in a couple of week's (that's jinxed it for me now) and play around editing and stuff.
  10. Nice shooting Simon, nice 5 shot group, i bet its boring having a rifle that shoots like that Got 6 off now so weather permitting i will be out
  11. Looks nice, not what i expected, not saying the original stock didnt look nice. It looks simalar to the stock on my Tikka, Hope the weather stays good for you, its cracking down here at the moment.
  12. PW, I call upon the experience of those who use any video editing gizmo's on a PC, which one do you recommend, free if possible and easy to use,. Thanks.
  13. Quite possibly, i remember back in the days when you could safely spend all day, i mean 9am till 5pm, out making dens or digging huge holes in fields and covering them up with grass and twigs to catch things ( all they used to do was probably break some poor souls ankle) I remember the times i would get a good clip round the back of my head if i got in after dark, and allways come out with the same excuse, "we got lost" which there were times we actually did get lost. Anyone who didnt go out playing were in those days labled as funny duddy's or strange kids,. It just seems ironic that now we think the opposite sometimes.
  14. Why is it freaky In the olden days freaks would have been people that stopped in most of the day doing silly things on little light box's called computer's playing pretend war games. It seems that people spending time outside in the fresh air being adventurous get labled "Freaks" or "weirdo's"
  15. Ian Paice, "Made in Japan " one of my favorite albums
  16. It may not be possible, but i would give them notice and find another nursery, if as you say you have been paying on time for the last 3 years i would tell them to swivel. its disgusting !!! pure greed

If anyone says they bone out a lamb ( sheep) in that time is farting from the wrong orifice. I would love to have there bone bag.
  18. Anyway, for those who can understand my English, they tasted ok. I'll go for raised beds next year . It could improve my parsnips and carrots.
  19. Its not all that bad, it means I can add another rifle to the cabinet if I feel the need to go over to France for a bit of piggie shooting ;-)
  20. It would be far more beneficial for the country if the HS2 funds were spent on the allready existing infrastructure,. At the moment there are too many area's of our existing rail that have speed restrictions put them, up date and maintain that so our existing high speed trains can run to there potential speed over a longer distances. 20 minute's would be a doddle to save.. We have the oldest rail track on the planet reaching over12000 miles, why waste money on a new one
  21. Gutted roast beef and these efforts for parsnips, they look more like something out of Dr Who whats up the them any ideas
