Very good thread ultrastu, well done for having the guts and staying the course on a contentious subject. My view is, well done, you did your calculations plus you made the shot previously at the exact distance and so kept the peramiters to a minimum. Every hunter has missed shots and maimed, it's the nature of the job that sometimes unfortunate as it is, it does happen! I'd like to think most would have a follow up shot to finish the job, not that you needed one.
