Indeed there are (SEE HERE)...now all we need is someone prepared to pick a load up and post them out to us, as it's collection only from Bromwich. Any takers?

I do appreciate that 'fit' is the be all and end all and at the end of the day, no matter how expensive the gun, it's never going to suit if it doesn't fit. I currently use a friends Beretta (while I check the post daily for my cert!), but I do find it doesn't naturally sit high enough in my shoulder. When I mount it I have to adjust it higher to be looking along rather than down on the rib, which to be honest, isn't that comfortable. Is it 'normal' that Berettas have a lower comb, or is it a case of the stocks short/long and as such I don't naturally mount it where it should be?

Looking at maybe getting a Lanber as my first shotgun. They seem to be fairly good value on the s/h market, a decent condition gun with m/c, case etc is sub £500. So, who has used/uses one, and what are the good and bad points please?
-
£300-ish for the gun, about £40 for the scope if it's a standard size 3-9x40 or similar. Dive bottle (if in test) with a filling adaptor, maybe £100 or so depending on size and pressure limit. I know gun and scope are about right, I recently bought an S400 for 300, bottle may be worth a bit more so check.

Even if nothing else it's under warranty so the repair wil be free.

It is a good fish, but not a thirty in my opinion. It's a good length fish, with decent bulk but not thick enough, I'd happily give you twenty plus and wouldn't be at all surprised if it goes twenty-five.

LOL, missed that ^^^^, oh the irony! Try a different spell checker dude, that one's not so good.

My place does a penny a litre off your first visit (with card so second one really), then a further penny every visit so that you are 10p a litre off by the tenth visit...at which point, you start again. Works for me.

Be interested as to how you find it, looked at it a few times.

...and maybe they can, which is why they also have guns other than airguns. Sorry if you really are genuine, but something just doesn't sit quite right AFAIAC. I know dyslexics who really struggle and they're more consistent than you. Maybe you are genuine, maybe you're a troll, maybe you're somewhere in between, whichever way, have fun.

The date on the page says 8th July 2011, but as you point out, the story ran last April, my bad. IMO it's still a valid discussion. As I see it, that's a really bad PR exercise, for the club but also for the shooter, and, by association shooting in general.

Residential would be understating it. The County ground is in the middle of Hove, Flanked on 3 sides by 6+ floor storey blocks of flats and surrounded by over a mile of residential streets in any direction! Seems a little poorly planned to say the least.

I don't think Adele has much to worry about in the talent stakes. Judging by what's on You Tube, Adele is writing better songs, and has the better voice. If it were a beauty contest, the septic wins hands down!

LMAO! You're allegedly dyslexic, but can't spell it. You can't spell 'I'll' but you manage 'properly' and 'converter', dyslexic my ****!

I can consistently hit a 2" target at 45 metres (not tried at 50), oh, but I should point out that it needs to be a virtually windless day...with the gun in its sweet spot...oh yes, and the target is completely stationary...in fact it's an HFT 2" knock down disc in bright yellow! The time it takes the pellet to cover 50 metres is long enough for a pigeon to have ducked fer chrissakes...madness! As for a body shot at that range, I doubt there'd be enough energy left to punch through a full crop. :look: I do look for headshots at 20 metres or less, and will go for a body shot up to a max of 40 metres, but often decline the shot on the far verges, I think 30m is about the sensible maximum.

10 month Lab really liquid diarrhea
-Mongrel- replied to marmitemania's topic in Dogs and Dog Training
Once agin, I wouldn't panic about the 'foam'. It's foamy if they sick up bile/grass. As I say though, if in doubt, call the vet. I've had dogs forever so have seen a lot of their ailments before. It sounds as though she's eaten something 'off' and has a dodgy gut, but like I say, I'm not there looking at her. -
We have dogs and kids, in winter it's a God send, wipe clean, fantastic! In summer it's cool and doesn't harbour beasties (fleas), another plus if you have pets. We do put a rug down in winter but it's more for the mutts to be honest. It's a mid-range laminate, it looks...OK, not fantastic but respectable, but we live in a rented property and paid for it ourselves, as such, I wasn't about to lay thousands of pounds worth of wood. I would recommend it. Our lounge/diner and hall is laminated with tiles in the kitchen and cloakroom, not a carpet on the grund floor. It works well for us.

12ltr 232bar divers bottle with gauge and hose
-Mongrel- replied to young airgunner's topic in Other Sales
Bargain! If he works out how to answer PM's! -
Where are you training, and what attracted you to it. At a mere 42 years of age I am looking at some form of interesting fitness training rather than gym bashing! *Yawn* PM me if you prefer.

Handy tool that, but why do you refill at 150? I find my S400 remains accurate down to 120 and is good down to 110. My 10 litre 207 bar gives me 178 fills from 190 down to 120...apparently.
-
To answer your question, a 300 bar bottle is better only because you get more refills out of it for your money. A 232 will do the job perfectly adequately especially if you are only going to use it occasionaly. As for testing, be aware that it could cost more. If it needs shot blasting that's additional, I had one done recently that cost £75 including air fill. You need to weigh up how many fills you want to get out of it , against the difference in cost of testing this one or buying new. Also bear in mind it could fail... ...not that I have ever had one fail and I'm a scuba diver as well!

10 month Lab really liquid diarrhea
-Mongrel- replied to marmitemania's topic in Dogs and Dog Training
I wouldn't panic just yet. Make sure she has plenty of water and I would starve her tonight. Two reasons for that, firstly, if she does have a problem that needs surgical attention in the morning then she will have an empty stomach for the aneasthetic, secondly, in my experience it's better to let her battle it overnight rather than keep 'feeding' the problem. I have a chocolate lab who used to have a very temperamental stomach until she matured, she was often very squitty, but nothing more than a stomach upset. If she's bright and active I'd hold fire until the morning then reassess. This is purely my opinion of course, and if in doubt consult a vet obviously.
