I signed up for a trade account when I purchased ours- its probably still active. More than likely the cctv suppliers will not look too deeply if you wish to open an account? Failing that, Amazon have them as well as Ebay of course- just make sure you get a UK/Europe spec as otherwise the only language available will be Chinese

Heavy handed or not, they were not at voting booths put in place for a legal ‘vote’ but some makeshift ballot boxes- can anyone but the organisers of these condone an illegal vote. Did the EU ever cast opinion on Police action in the UK such as during the 2011 London Riots, minors strikes etc? Nope, thought not. I’m employed by a UK Company but based in Europe, travelling all over. We’re not ‘insured’ per se and it’s in our T&C’s that we hold a valid EHIC card- they are however decent enough to reimburse us for any out of pocket expenditure. Have used a few healthcare providers in France, Germany and the Netherlands. Each time using my EHIC card, sometimes bing asked to pay a ‘contibution’ And other not. The EHIC system is fabulous in its acceptance from my experiences.

Why is EU mentioned every time something occurs? It’s a region within a Country that held a referendum ( albeit an unofficial one) who states their wish to become independent- surely this is a matter for the Spanish Government to decide I get the feeling, as with most ‘off topic’ postings, that some have a very perverse hatred of the EU

Me thinks Ditchy is getting a bit toooooo keen ( if your not careful he will be braking into your garage and having a dabble) Regarding the £30, he may be an enthusiast but he has ‘the knowledge’ which would save you doing it! Look at it this way, say it took you three hours of internet searching etc and then send the forms of to the DVLA to receive the, back as they are incorrect, and so your on the merry go round. But for the price of one. Window cleaning job there is someone prepared to provide everything you need in one easy step. That’s the way I view it Oh, and watch out for Ditchie once again in case my opening line didn’t sink in

Mine charged for one of my renewals (SGC I think) at £35 but not for the other renewals when I went Co-terminus. For my French licence, I have to pay my Doctor (currently €23) every year as licences are annual, whilst some might object to the costing etc it’s good that all shooters are at least seen by their GP each year for any issues/ concerns that might arise. You have to remember that apart from initial applications for Semi auto rifles and pistols we never have any interaction with the Police. For normal hunting permit and either clays or rifle type shooting, all you do is apply for your licence via the Club and have the licence stamped up by your Doctor to validate. Does make UK shooting seem very cheap in comparison On the flip side, I can buy whatever rifle I wish without having to ask for a Variation- downside is my credit card used to take a hell of a bashing each time I went into a gun shop

Paddy Same problem I was having with the boat seat as like a bike seat, thick plastic base. My Mrs only does conventional upholstery. Regarding the place I took mine too, hmm , received the seat back today and the quality is not what I was expecting. Know vinyl can be a pig but I would have not expected it to come out how they did it with poor stapling and overstretched parts which means a bit of tearing by some staples. So, in this instance I cant recommend them. I do have some great staples with points you can have to try , I also have the Stanley tr550 stapler but maybe the bike seat base is softer? I see some arrow copy air staplers on fleabay for £22, might be worth a punt

Was there not a recent Discovery type documentary that supposed the LHO took the first shot which was the throat shot. But his subsequent shot missed- in the ensuing confusion a Secret Sercive agent grabbed his carbine and lost his footing- in doing so created the fatal shot!
