  1. Brill Will pm them And now you have jogged my memory I do believe I have very small percentage stake in LG's printer
  2. Can't for the life of me remember who on here can replicate plastic parts Rang Seadoo yesterday for 3 hard plastic 'bumpers' and the reply made me think again. They are literally 3.5cm by 1cm by 1.5 lozenge shape but slightly tapered from bottom to top. Any idea please ( would need to be black btw)
  3. I had a VF500 f11 Hankered after one as a customer had one and I thought in Rothmans colours that it was the dogs..... Day after my test I purchased a A reg job, motad nets or something were the OE look exhaust or something like that ( well it was 1988). Went everywhere on it but was always having problems with fuel evaporation/starvation with it being a sod to start when hot. Eventually booked it into CJ Ball where they found a typical of the era valve problem. Replaced them myself and then it just sat in the coal shed until 1990 when I brought the first ZZR600 that Tinklers had in- now that was good and wouldn't mind one again for some nostalgia. Had Kwaks ever since ( ok, that's a little lie as I had two variants of VFR400's and a CBR400 too) Enjoy it when it's done- personally I prefer the wine red of the original

    Whoops

I can believe it- newer diesels by a few manufacturers now have a diffenr filler system to negate these problems. Despite some fantastic advice by Hendrix Rifle ( pm inbound) we decided to go the Insurance Company route- I know it will show as a claim on renewal but we have protected NCD If they pay out for the fuel removal and then whatever is done then at worst case I'm in for the ins excess , best result is if they have to replace all the pumps/seals/ glow plugs/injectors etc - well , you get my drift. Anyway- thankyou to all
  5. Paddy That's fantastic and I'm very jealous. Reason being, in 1987/88 just before I obtained my motorcycle licence and was into photography/home developing. We were at Snetterton and I happened to take a picture of an identical VF and printed it as a 10x6 if I recall. Always lusted after that bike with the picture on my bedroom wall for several years Enjoy it and if you wish for help restoring im game

    Whoops

Wife rang in a panic on Monday having put 25l in the Diesel Volvo, she had proceeded to drive a few miles whilst the thing was 'hesitating and stuttering' before pulling over Drove out and we swapped cars to then contemplate next move. RAC wished for £199 plus fuel to come out, found a company called fuel Doctors who were £150 plus £20 for some snake oil ( additive) and £20 for fuel ( was only ten litres) All seemed ok and I filled up straight away. Used the car today and on stopping the engine it was 'running on', slight hesitation and the the dreaded EML warning came on with the caption 'Reduced Engine Power' Fault code is showing the turbo has gone and local garage will take a look on Tuesday. Did just see that the car insurance might cover it, at least that way the car will have all the correct bits replaced. Anyone else done it? What was the outcome? Needless to say, it's a bit tense in our household at the moment
  8. Got Me too. Just have to wait for the 'China post office' to deliver :-)
  9. Lawn darts--- had hours of fun with mates running over the lawn chucking them high in the air at each other......

    House Prices

Went to look at a place yesterday in Fakenham. Nice house, nice little market town- but boy oh boy was it expensive... Luckily for my bank account a gentleman placed a successful offer on it just after we viewed otherwise I'm sure the wife would have been badgering me for it. Was in south Norfolk/North Suffolk over the weekend and saw some lovely villages, pricing near Stowmarket seems a bit more reasonable but then your away from everything.
  14. If you knew the implications of Brexit on the Rights of Air Operators then you would understand his comments. Depending on the final 'model' that the Uk follows will influence theirs, and others structure. Our lot are scratching their heads too
  15. Grimaud village- sales Robert At slot of the 'boot sales' type of events there are various wallhangers and knives etc This one has more than it's fair share of militaria
  16. In that case it wouldn't fit me as he was a tiddly chap supposedly. Now will you all stop winding me up, as I said at the start- kicking myself as even as a wall hanger I reckon 130 euro was ok......
  17. Looking great So glad the sales and purchases have worked out- lovely machine you now have. Now, how much for my left kidney :-)
  18. Quiet now please....... Am not back down until October so should put it to the back of my mind. Did google some images and either way, should have purchased it :-(
  19. Don't go there Shaun...... Back in Uk today otherwise I would have gone to the same market this weekend purchased it anyway :-) What make me glad it's wasn't something super was it was adorned with swivels and one the rib was some lettering in gold.

    Broadband.

And France- well our part anyway. All the Mrs did was moan at the speed for the last three weeks we were there. It's still only dial up where we are, but they have promised Fibre- only problem is they have promised it for the last 5 years. Arrived back in the Uk and boy is this Virgin service speedy- can buy so much more, quicker on fleabay :-)
  21. Not necc of course- but sure would halt any large increases
  22. Whilst the pound slides against most major currencies then of course it will continue.
  23. Do not let age dissuade you from applying. As others have said, you seem to fulfil all the requirements. Although it wasn't for vermin I had my FAC granted at age 15, on it I had 7.62 rifle, .223 rifle. .22lr rifle. .22lr pistol and and 9mm pistol...... Never knocked back /denied any request of Variation. Held my SGC for a year prior. Good luck and go for it, if at all worried then speak to your FEO first as it's his report/guidance that will be used by his 'decision maker'

    Norfolk boaters

''Twas the reply I received from the Broads Authority No mention of a limit to how many short term 'tolls' one could purchase in any given year

    Norfolk boaters

Just added a phone mount as looked at prices of marine gps systems like we used to have on our old boat and thought --noooooooo So saw an old iPhone mount that used to go in the car aurvent and though "that will do". One rivet later and jobs a good un and we have an accurate gps speedo ( I'm still concerned I can get the boat to go slow enough without having to use a drag anchor)
