  1. I spoke (mainly) to Scott, and to another staff member (who didn't sound 'old') and, as mentioned, both were very friendly and helpful.
  2. Sad to see them in this state. It would be kind to put her out of her misery, perhaps using a .22lr subsonic when she's in your garden.
  3. Correct. We can thank good old Maggie Thatcher for this, I believe.
  4. A friend of mine will soon have 100 of the above cases for sale. He doesn't reload so I prepare them ready for sale on his behalf. The cases will be deprimed, full length resized and wet tumbled. Price is £60 inc 2nd class signed for postage.
  5. It took approx' 3 hours for it to work on me. And after drinking the 2 ltrs, my bowels were completely emptied.
  6. I would like to thank the above company, and in particular, Scott, who dealt with my purchase recently of a HIKMICRO Thunder 35mm Ultimate package. From the very first enquiry about it, Scott was very helpful, both via email and phonecalls. After receiving the goods, I discovered that the 40mm scope collar (advertised to fit up to 50mm) was not suitable and I have been offered a refund on that piece if kit. This is the first time I've dealt with this company but it certainly won't be the last. Thanks Scott.
  7. Thanks. I'll contact the dealership later today.
  8. Yes the service was approx a month ago.
  9. Has anyone got or used the above? I recently purchased a HIKMICRO Thunder ultimate set up but have read that keeping zero is not that good, and accordingly, the Rusan system is much better. It's not cheap though.
  10. A few days ago I noticed that when I applied the brakes on my vehicle, sometimes the brake pedal felt hard to press and I also felt slight movement on the clutch pedal. It only happens now and then. My vehicle has just had a service with no faults etc found. It's under warranty but I wanted advice first before reporting it, if anyone can suggest something.
  11. I sold a rifle and ammunition to my mate. With regard to the ammunition, I entered the calibre and quantity and stated 'gift'.
  12. I certainly would have, had I known.
  13. The above gentleman has sadly passed away at the age of 67. R.I.P. George.
  14. Many moons ago, I ordered a hunting DVD from a company called Zimbi Books in South Africa. I paid using my debit card and of course, had to give out the 3 numbers. All was okay, the DVD arrived, but 3 weeks later, I went to pay for fuel using my debit card for the first time since the DVD order. The card was declined, but luckily enough I had a credit card to use. I contacted my bank who informed me that they had frozen my card owing to suspicious activity. I was asked if I had tried to puchase £800 worth of diamonds in South Africa, to which I said no. They replied that they thought that this was the case, and any 'unusual or 'large' amounts of money via my card, flags up on their system. I have had my card cloned once, using a 'hole in the wall' and entering my PIN. Within an hour, £300 was taken from my account in two separate transactions, and these were in Aberdeen! I did get reimbursed by the bank.
  15. I've done this for years. As far as I'm aware, the only way that someone can remove money from your account is if they have your PIN number. I've never had any trouble.
  16. We've just returned from a few days at the above 'pod'. It was excellent and we enjoyed being there, especially as we took our dog 'Meg' with us. The area is Henllan Cardiganshire and from there, we drove to a few places of interest, the best being Aberystwyth. It really was a relaxing few days away, something that I, personally needed, due to the stress of my job. Anyway, I can highly recommend it if you are looking for a quiet break away. https://www.cabanteifi.co.uk/
  17. It's me, and I'd be more than happy to cover the postage. Thank you. Thank you.
  18. Yes you are correct. The 'ultimate' package consists of a thermal spotter, a front add on and also a stand alone scope. Everything is included. I chose a 40mm scope clamp with fits up to 50mm and then another 50mm one to fit up to 58mm. I have read that there's a sytem called Ruson scope clamp and reducing ring. According to the write up, it's a better system as you 'won't lose zero' if adding/removing the front add on. Not cheap though and I'm looking into it. I plan on using the Thunder as an stand alone scope on my .22 Hornet and then a front add on for my .243/ .204.
  19. I use the two point rifle rest(very good) and/or my hog saddle clamp. With the two point rest, I have fixed velcro fasteners to it to wrap around the rifle and hold it in position. I'm then hands free, as with the hog saddle.
