Thx for the tips guys. Tried Lindisfarne but was stopped in 20mins by the burrs. Some sort of invasive spiky stuff in the grass from Newzealand ( Houseplant where are you when we need you lol) covered the dog and stopped it walking. Next 30 mins was spent trying to get it out of his fur. Walked into Alnwick from one of the local villages only to find I had left car keys in boot of car .
