One smart motor. It needs some mud

This is what we do. I have a 5kw in an open plan house and we use the doors to regulate and as a last resort open the solar chimney to bring in a cold draft. But cleaning the glass i just use apiece of wet kitchen roll and wipe it off.

Great day motty and good shooting. Off to the cut maize in the morning but i doubt i will see so many pigeons. I bet here on the levels i will see as many egrets and heron as you have pigeons in this picture

Sounds worth a try. I made my own with a camera its great. Key is to get the spacing between the camera lens and the scope lens the right distance (you need a short focal length.).The cameras are less than a tenner but you need a screen etc etc ....

What about a second hand Piaggio 3 wheel bike. Drive it on a car licence. Up to 400cc can be drifted like a car, dont have to put your feet down, nimble as a bike. You just need another set of no claims.

Thats got me thinking. Pigeon shooting is mostly a non team activity. I wonder if that means that most of the forum members as shooters would vote to go it alone??

What is the truth? We will be ok in and we will be ok out, there will be arguents for both sides but its not a simple truth to tell. It comes down to if you believe in being part of a team or you want to plough your own furrow. Do you believe the uk is a stronger nation on its own or as part of the group of euro nations? A team does not always play the way you would want it to but maybe the team is more effective than a sole player.

But they get no say in the process that they have to conform to.

My wife is from Europe and pays more tax in a year than some would pay in a lifetime. Would she have to go back? I wonder :-) If the returned we would have to take back all the uk expats :-( No bags from Burbary or coats from Barbour. No cheese from Cheddar or chocolate from cadbury.

Me too its the best. We only seem to have mostly crows here so i have to love shooting them.

Looks like a great morning good shooting. I have some luck with crows using a pigeon on the flapper at the edge of the crow pattern. I think the movement catches the interest and the deeks do the rest.

6-7 hours sounds plenty to me. Many of the Chinese batteries do not have the capacity that they claim one of the reasons for the lack of availability here. Some also have a tendency to catch fire when charging. Although its different batteries this is an incite.

That's a great little pistol. I am amazed at the craftsmanship of some people. I cant even put up a shelf!!

Great read and sounds like a great day. Shame to put the deeks away there will be plenty to go at. My shoot starts last sat of the month down in Barnstaple. Here pigeons and corvids mostly spread to the four corners even the new drilings are not shooting well. Patience, if only i had some.

Redditch this is excellent review work. Keep it coming please. There is nothing as good as someone using the scope for real to get a feel for how the kit is performing. Good hunting..

Bristol Post Sept 14 AVON and Somerset police failed to answer almost 70,000 calls to their non-emergency number quickly enough, it has been revealed. A Freedom of Information request by the BBC shows that only 70 per cent of calls to the 101 non-emergency number between April and July this year were answered within one minute, when the force should be hitting a target of 85 per cent or more. One call, recorded in April, was not answered by the force for 49 minutes and seven seconds.

Also on the stool the bottom of leg inside the foot is cut at 90deg to the leg which means it sits in the foot at an angle and cuts through the foot itself. More adjustment on the legs would be good too. I am now on my third in three years. I have had to modify the leg length, cut the bottom of the legs to align better with the plastic foot, put locktight on the swivel bolt to stop it coming undone, waterproof the seat so it does not get sodden when its raining and i get off. Now its a great seat. I sometimes wonder who tests this gear. I would happily pay more for better quality kit.

Think i paid £30 for day no accom. t was my first ever day out the guys could not be more helpful and lots of birds about.
