I used to shoot the Hainault, chigwell areas which are just outside London and would shoot big bags regularly over rape and any other crop or stubble, through the year. I also shot other farms in essex where a 100 bird day was pretty rare, and an 86 was the most I ever shot on winter rape. I was convinced the pretty " easy " shooting I had near London was that the birds were " city woodies " , and not as clued up as their country cousins. So maybe PC s birds are Brummie city birds? Then again, dead birds don't pass on fear of rotaries to their friends! And he sure kills a lot of birds!

browning, beretta, and Miroku all quality guns. Go to shop feel a few, and go for what you like best really. Can beat a bit of gunshop retail therapy, so enjoy.

Shouldn't think that long. Had a lab that sliced her pad really deeply, I cleaned and bandaged it up, and she was healed up in a week. Think dogs tend to heal a lot quicker than us mere mortals!

As said before dog biscuit imitation made from deer hair trimmed with scissors into shape and fished on top amongst real dog biscuits. Also bread fly, as above, but use white deer hair or foam. Great fun!

didn't mean you couldn't afford them, but guns you mentioned were, if you like, in the budget range of the beretta and browning range.

think you're out of the OP price range here. The guns you state are a far better build quality, and a much nicer feel about them. Your right about the DT 10 though, and the DT 11 , both feel very nice!!

Know it's only 7pm, but I'm surprised this gun ain't sold yet!

Most we're not out of range, but it takes a certain person to kill these birds with consistency, and I'm afraid to say most can't. I'd love a day at Warter Priory, but if I could not kill, say 1for 3 I wouldn't be happy. If you can't kill a bird, and I don't mean just wing or drop it, you shouldn't be shooting at them. No good shouting " good shot " if the person has taken 10 shots to get it ! :(

always take my T8 mod off rifle after use, spray loads of WD40 in each end, shake it to death, shake/wipe off excess WD wrap in kitchen towel, and put away. Been told if you leave mod on after shooting, can cause condensation, rusting up your mod ( except stainless ) and worse still rusting up your barrel and crown too! :(
