  1. Well done good bag.. Nowt wrong with a power nap between flights.
  2. Sounds like with those carcasses on his land he may have gone a bit mad in his old age. Be good for you to find out if he has any guns! If he does the FO may also have some concerns with his behaviour.
  3. Sounds like a but if a lune ! Suggest filming him next time with your phone, at least then you will have evidence should it go a bit pear shaped. This usually does the trick with people having a go it really winds them up and they end up storming off ******* and blinding.
  4. We'll done Terry..there seems to be stacks about this year, must have been the mild wet winter.
  5. Odd job fair comment. Just think it would have helped if you had put some of this in the original thread to give your comments a bit of context.
  6. +1 you don't teach you granny how to suck eggs ! Do you really think the local village idiot will waste his pond life time reading this.. If he can read that is.
  7. Great stuff well done. Good to see he''s interested in shooting and far better than him being on the xbox.
  8. Will be there not sure which day yet all depends on the weather.
  9. +1 I have had some difficult stubborn dogs over the years, however pulling the dogs by its ears like this is just showing the guys frustration and that he has no other method to train the dog. +1 the dog would have wagged his tail even if he had beaten the **** out of it because the dog always wants to please the trainer.
  10. Looks like mixy has had him, you see them hoping around very close to you with this almost half dead look, the eyes are either swollen and closed or very watery. The crows generally take a pop at them if they can see something is an easy meal. Myxi is horrible to see and we seem to have it here in phases, we will have it one year then it will jump a year or two and reappear.
  11. Well done, keep up the good work, out of interest what happened to the parents of the two you mention ?
  12. I'm relatively new to the forum but have been surprised with the vast number of guests online. At peak times I have noticed more than double the number of guest against members!!! seems strange. Are these members who don't log in or people just having a nose about. I would have thought that if you interested in this type if forum then you would make a bit of effort and join up.?
  13. Good stuff Terry you must be really proud of him, looks like all the advice you giving Dyfan is paying off. Top shot.
  14. Very similar in mannerisms to magpies only more weary, one snap of a twig and they're off. These are top nest robbers don't be fooled, but I do agree with camo kid they are stunning birds.
  15. We'll done nowt wrong with that......you can even celebrate his birthday in style and an excuse to have a couple of pints of the black stuff.
  16. S/h HW80 - great gun plenty of power well made and will last for years.
  17. Yes would have thought so, they would view this as a family member. In my experience you would be better off asking a friend for example who can confirm your character etc.
  18. Good shooting, even better with the sun on your back.
  19. Looks like a decent day out, plenty for the kids as we'll. Basc have a marquee there and also gundog demonstrations. http://www.rwas.co.uk/spring-festival/.
  20. Couldn't agree more, there's stacks of them working the trees at the moment seeing what they can rob, only on the weekend saw two blackbirds going mental and try to attack something and then I could a see a grey moving in on the nest. At the end of the day if you hit one cleanly with a decent air rifle or something even bigger then that's got to be the best and quickest humane option.
  21. +1 excellent boot, good fitting and no need to where thick socks. Unfortunately I decided to by a pair of hunter balmoral neoprene after my agile had worn out, big mistake no comparison the hunters are much more clumpy and heavier to wear.
  22. Agree all about routine and what the dogs are used to. Ours are better together and generally stimulate each other when there's no one about, when we only had the one she became destructive through boredom even though she was walked morning and worked / trained for an hour or more every evening.
