  4. hello, i think it has to do with the buyers of the big retail supermarkets who try and squeeze the prices down to an absolute bare minimum so little profit for the farmers, even one supermarket gave such a low price there was no profit hence it was left to rot, the farmers weekly is worth a read, if the Dyson farms cannot make a profit as himself stated what chance the family farms,
  5. hello, in that case i would look for a 300 bar 3 ltr cylinder, keep a look out on all the forums/ free ads/ or try a dive centre, go dive are selling one complete with guage and hose at £135 thats 29% off normal price including free shipping to most parts of UK

  9. hello, thankyou for your replies, i always thought he grew up in wiltshire but maybe where he mentioned was as a young boy, in fact in Malmsbury i had some friends who went to school with james dyson, i have mentioned before he did not come up with the idea of the bagless hoover, anyway it seems from what was stated farming is going to change as was said by a local farmer and many smaller farming families will not be able to carry on which i think is the biggest shame, so much for progress,
  10. hello, thankyou for your replies so far, interesting Jd on your reply, i know a farm of 1000 acres that gets £65,000 so how many do the Dyson empire have?
  11. hello, i am not an avid watcher of the above programme as like most things with the BBC with its bias views, but i wonder what will be said on giving little chance to the smaller farming communities that are being sold out and those like the above turning our countryside into one big land estate,
  12. hello paul, how about a pm to mel b and see if Lin can fix it, she made me a very nice shooting bag and well made

  20. hello, 10.5 ft llb is fine it might even go a bit more with use, oh a air rifle is only as good as the person shooting price is irrelevant
  21. hello, i am thinking of a PR900 in 177 as quite a few on UKAGF bought one and pleased with the rifle, £250 for a PCP and pump ?????
  22. hello, your wildcat has a 232BAR fill for 60 shots, you could try finding a small 3 ltr cylinder 300 bar and i think you can fill from a large cylinder, i use to fill my AA 410 from a hand pump, that was a single stage and fairly hard going, the new 3 stage pumps are much easier to use, the one i mentioned on ebay from globeselling100 is less than £40 and 3 stage with good reviews on the UKGF forum, if you go on the air rifle section on here a PW member has or is going to buy one so its worth looking at his views, , PW member stut4 has just mentioned on his post purchasing the pump i mentioned, he was pleased with the pump, if you do not let your rifle get to low on air it should not be to much effort to top up,
  23. hello, try your nearest dive centre they sometimes sell 300 bar cylinders refurbished with guage
