Folks, It appears that in the next hour, the lava flow from the breaking eruption 🌋 in Iceland will start to consume the town of Grindavik. I was fortunate enough to see the ‘tourist’ eruption that happened in the middle of nowhere in July’23, but this one will be no fun for the residents. Odd to know that roads I’ve driven on are already cracked beyond belief due to seismic activity, and that those roads themselves will soon be history. There was already a fatality this week when a gent was consumed by a crack that opened beneath him. Must be a surreal moment for the residents. Thoughts and strength to them all.

I spend half of my working life in the Netherlands. Once you realise they have the right of way, it’s fairly simple to navigate around them.

As above … Bringing the dog back from the marsh straight into the house doesn’t go down well. Using this thing, with the dog in a baby bath outside he gets a lot cleaner. Initially I use the spray to get the worst off, then take the lid off to use the rest of the water to rinse. It needed a new seal this summer but a few pence off eBay and it was right again.

What’s your point? I saw it last week coming back from evening flight and when we were in Crete in August.
