  1. Just watched the highlights, so crowd seemed quiet, SA made a lot of errors at the line out England seemed a bit flat in attack, but! Defence looked good, Farrell as always played a great game and kicked brilliant, thought the penalty was going to go against him at the death. How was the game in real time?
  2. That's proper trapped in the house, hope it works out. One already, that's gone quick. But your right don't think were geared up to stay home all day with the nippers, i had a day at home this week because our lad was sick, bike ride doctors chilled out, its easier once there a little older but not all day every day but shhhhhh don't tell the other half
  3. It'll be bed time soon so then you can get the pots and ironing done, we've just been playing snap, lots of fun, went out today and found some belting rhododendrons' for climbing they were growing on an angle, kids 7&4 and loved it
  4. I like your style, if i plan on going after work so arriving at 645am and its raining i don't go, i don't think they will rush out of a warm dry drey when its dark cold and wet.
  5. Mice!

    Long range.

How strange? I know the guys on the rapid forum talk about polishing their barrels to take out tight spots and this improves the accuracy, but i wouldn't have expected a smooth bore.
  6. Mice!

    Long range.

is it a smooth bore then?
  7. we were out in our local park last Sunday nice sunny afternoon we counted between 20 & 24 squirrels while wandering about, different park this afternoon overcast damp and breezy, by the time we left it was raining and the squirrels weren't bothered at all easily double figures doing there thing, some you could have poked with a stick, they just weren't interested in us.

    FLOOD PLAN...

I saw something similar to this on a programme a while back, they had had wall insulation done which got wet and stayed that way so kept the house cold and damp. sounds like no damp course either??
  9. Typical, given i saw quite a few squirrels yesterday i dragged myself out early doors, never saw any squirrels!! A cold wind blowing today while yesterday was still and sunny, the whole wood was still asleep it seemed waiting on the sun getting up. Saw two roe as i arrived a woodcock got up, later as i was leaving the black birds and thrushes were on the roan berries and a family of long tailed t*t's maybe 15 of them worked through the rhododendrons, robins and wrens all busy doing there thing.

    Whats App

I had this problem when my sister changed numbers, i had to do as others have said, delete the conversation on the old number, save any pictures you want first. Then ask them to send you a WhatsApp so you can reply to it.
  11. How good would that be, until some 19 stone monster smashes you into the turf.
  12. Mice!

    Long range.

Can't believe you would rather go shooting than work 🤣😂 🤣 I was watching some videos of a Polish guy on YouTube shooting about 130yards i think. 150 yard tins is a proper plinking session
  13. The one they did at my daughters school was good because they got all the kids and teachers on it
  14. Been a while, got two young males this morning both shot out of the pine trees, don't think I've fired a shot since the 25th August, thought we were on top of the squirrels as we've hardly seen any and the feeders haven't been getting touched but the tree tops were busy this morning.
  15. Really good photos. I realise what probably are the older generation on here are saying about the fact that the survivors of world war two wouldn't have made all this "fuss" on Remembrance day and its not surprising given they lived through it and with it the rest of their lives. Neither of my grandparents ever said a lot about the war, we took gas masks and ration books into school as kids, saw some pictures. but i don't think we should ever forget what happened otherwise the same mistakes could be made again. It doesn't matter whether you think they were heroes or just doing their duty, and the conflicts since, The Falklands, Yugoslavia the middle east to name a few, my daughter asked for 50p today so she can buy her poppy from school tomorrow, which i think is great, obviously the more money raised the better. And the fact that a generation that will likely not know anyone involved in world war two will ask questions about what happened. Wear your poppy with pride.
  16. My daughter was asking why its trick or treat🤣🤣 we didn't go out but a few came round not many though, it seems to work that folk only knock where lights or pumpkins are obvious.
  17. Only an idea, what about getting someone with a drone to do an aerial photograph, some of the pictures they do are really good and can look good in a reception?? need to be careful with gifts as these days lots of things can't be accepted
  18. Does anybody else have I player freeze up on them? We watch it through a bt free view box but often have programs stop?
  19. Have a look on guns and equipment the same question was asked last week, sorry i don't know how to do a link.
  20. There are only so many things i can get my phone to do, but mines windows, same with computers im ok doing things i do regularly, everything else 😵😵😵
  21. fair enough, part of the reason I go to the remembrance service is to take my kids, they have never known anyone who served but i feel its important to be thankful for what those men and women gave up so we can live as we do. So every year we all buy several poppies as they go missing off coats, my Grandad always sold them for the British Legion and i wouldn't be without one in November.
  22. You might say you don't post much but there always good to read with great pictures. And congratulations on getting Wed 👏👏
  23. You should be able to edit a picture on your phone, or get a free app for the down sizing.
  24. So people shouldn't pay their respects?? I'm 42 and both of my grandfathers served in the Second Word War.
