  1. Cheers old man, often hear black birds and like I said its not bright but wouldn't have expected a territorial battle in the car park at that hour, not even using night vision 😊
  2. Well I can only say that I have two up but no wasp nests, they fly in then leave. Mice
  3. Its 4am just seen two male robin's battling it out in the works car park, its lit but not bright fairly sure they should be tucked up asleep unless this is how they plan on avoiding all the magpies from now on?
  4. There has been a country file spin off this week each morning at 9am I think, they were talking about shooting wild boar showing the damage they do and contraception, recorded it but not watched it properly yet
  5. Hi 39TDS, take a look at waspinator on amazon cant copy the link for some reason Mice
  6. If there a problem get a couple of the fake wasp nests you can buy I have one in the garage and Wendy house now and its kept them out, didn't help when I stood on a nest at the end of the garden tho!!! Anyone know if they return to old nests?? Thinking I should dig that one out maybe??

    Stag do

Sounds tricky, I organised Prague for my brother everyone said it was dirt cheap but it was anything but, hassle getting there the cheap bars you didn't want to drink in, wound up costing me a fortune. I know its not near you but the real ale trail between Manchester and Leeds is really popular anything like that near you, we did it after a rugby festival and its all anyone has talked about since. Ice hockey?

Its a hard fast very skillful game with a dose of violence thrown in, used to love watching the play offs for the Stanley cup late nights on channel 5, the scrapping doesn't normally last long both players get sent to the penalty box and no one dives, sport like it should be. When is it on??
  12. I imagine your sorted now but can you not just make a nylon bush and split (cut) it so it fits between the barrel and bipod Mice
  13. Its because of these reasons that I did all the hedges at the property twice a year just to keep the garden tidy and stop them going wild, also helps that your around sometimes having a look. Our rental always looked tidy but its surprising how tired they can look once there empty, Tenants aren't likely to do a thorough clean as you would in your own property, ok the misses would 😉 My sister used a deposit from a rental to get professional cleaners in after one tenant left and no references brought the place up great. Your very lucky if you get good tenants just need to realise its about someone else paying for you house pension and have procedure in place with agent to visit regular and keep in top of things Mice!
  14. I have been a Tennant and landlord and been lucky with both, it seems strange the place being a tip if she knew you were coming round, when we got our house back as the Tennant was moving on for a longer lease it looked tired as they had been in there three years. People often don't look after rentals as you would if it was yours, I wouldn't leave it two months before sending a letter, does an agent manage the property as in they contact you if something needs fixing? Your quite within your rights to ask the agent to have a word about the condition of the property Good luck Mice
  15. Thanks Royboy, looks like they have some very dear stuff as well 😲 Cheers Mice!
  16. Have to say I like it its good to watch with the kids even if they sugar coat things and get things wrong, for some people country file is probably the only knowledge they have of the country side Mice!
  17. Thanks guys have to find somewhere around Preston or Wigan way that stocks them and try one for size then order from John Norris Cheers Mice!
  18. Hi all, John Norris have the seeland Devon jacket at £60 down from £220 Is this a great bargain, anyone got one or is there a reason its so cheap. Thanks Mice!
  19. That's 169 then. Decided to rescind my no shooting policy in the garden and take the ones raiding my bird feeder's, I swear they have the house bugged they've gone???
  20. £1 a month simple, if you only read a couple of articles its a bargain cheers Mice!
  21. I work 3 on 3 off but nights and it works well for me as mentioned you book 4 days holiday and you get 12 or one day either side of your 4 on and you can start to really enjoy it. The only problem is if you do a lot at weekends I know a few people who really don't like working Saturday's, the other thing is if you normally work a lot of over time at weekends as the shift pattern would stop this other than holiday cover. We get 39 hrs plus 5 at overtime as basic each week for an average of 44hrs over the week but we get a paid lunch and extra for being on the shift pattern Hope this helps failing that new year new job Mice!
  22. Hi kitdigger57 Do you still need bodies? Just seen your msg, I'm only in Leyland and available Pm On its way Mice!
  23. I knew it would be a Wednesday if I'm not working I teach judo which is typical, but thanks handy knowing there is somewhere that local I will pop down at some point Mice!
