Probably find you will be moving a touch when your shooting anyway so the half a mil dot won't matter but now you know where the pellet is going it always helps, I tend to aim high if I'm thinking its a long shot so a bit off a drop gives you head then neck and if its actually closer a clean miss. Might seem really obvious this but who knows, cooked a chicken in the oven as you do, took it out put it on a plate UPSIDE down and started taking the meat off the bone. It more or less just fell off, full breasts without a cut on them just a couple of cuts for the legs and thighs job done. Only normally turn the chicken over once I'm done to take the oysters off then later for any bits for the dog, but I'm doing it this way in future. Did I get lucky or have I just been doing it the hard way for years?

Can you get hold of a thermal camera at all? Having a look at night normally gives you a better idea of how many are about. If your only taking a few for the pot so long as you don't shoot all the breeding does you should have plenty.

Yes I realise that but your humble pellet isn't going far compared with the fac stuff, when I started reading up on deer and foxes it was an eye opener

Looks nice, I imagine its nice and relaxing shooting with an air rifle compared with fac, from what I've been reading on other threads I think people spend more time worrying about backstops and being unable to shoot. And nice bedding 😆

Think you've missed the point red dot his dog is/was on the lead, I have had dogs growl at mine before because there on the lead and I'm walking past but if your dog is on the lead and there's tries having a go it can't be your fault. You know your right if you boot it and don't get grief.

Something I do when turning nylon is put a groove in first using your parting off tool, this way you can turn into fresh air and avoid cutting material off by hand or if you can get in do the groove then back turn it so your cutting away from the chuck and finished piece. Just leave enough for the finish cut . Would try to get the Acetal though much nicer
