Lloyd90
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B001NCEMBC/ref=...ASIN=B001NCEMBC Looking at these wellies. what you guys think ?
docholiday
Good wellies but I find they make them very narrow so if you have broad feet may be tight, you have to try them on first. al4x
they will be decent boots if its for shooting the Vierzonord are excellent boots for winter use but obviously more expensive but neoprene lined
Dunkield
You know it's almost Christmas when the 'which welly' posts start to appear. Only 42(?) sleeps to go As for the boots, they look good but don't look like they will accommodate anyone with big calves. I have had the same pair of Chameau neoprenes for about 10 years now, and when they finally die I don't think I will replace them with neoprenes. Even in Scotland, it just doesn't seem to get cold enough for them these days. Good soles like the ones those seem to have of Vibram soles like some of the others have will be more important to me. Chris Bb
I have a similar pair of "Le Chameau", not neoprene, just lined rubber wellies. Good grip soles/heels and very comfortable, wide enough for my plates which are WIDE! A happy customer.
bullet boy
I`ve got a pair of Muckboot`AVON`.These are the most comfortable footwear i have ever put on my feet!
scrob
I recently looked into a lot of neoprene wellies and settled for Hunter Balmoral Neos, they cost me £75 (rrp 90) and I have to say I am chuffed to bits, they are very comfy and keep the feet warm without getting sweaty. I could wear them all day long quite happily. The only thing is the big white Hunter logo but I can get over that! Maybe some day I'll go Le Chameau but I just couldn't justify double the price for a similar enough product.
flyingfisherman
Ive had muck boots and hunters, both neoprene, think the muck boots were a little cumbersome and the hunters come with different soles to get a good fit.. I looked at some Le chameau ones but couldnt justify it to be honest, so bought myself a nice pair of le chameau boots for stalking.. robmiller
I got the hunter Balmoral Neo ones. you can get them for about 70. Excellent, best pair of wellies i have had. Rediculously comfy and way. They come with a free innersole which makes it snug. Good grip. As above, only thing is the hunter label. As my dad keeps reminding me, they are for faggots, posers or gypsies.

Beno
Had a pair of Le Chameau Vierzonord really dint like them felt like I had slippers on so sent them back and got a pair of Aigle Parcours ISO Open they where really comfy but my feat sweat so much in them it was like a swimming pool by the end of the day. After about a month of wearing them the fell apart so they got sent back too. Got a pair of Hunter Balmoral Neo and they are the dog’s ******** not to warm and fit good, Id defiantly recommend a pair.
DaveB916
Toggi's for me comfy as a pair of old slippers and a tough boot too. Easiest boot I have ever had to get on and off. Dave B
Lloyd90
I got a pair of Hoggs Field Pro Neoprone inside ones bought for me by my mother. There nice aswell
Sprocket
Just like daveB916 -Ive got a pair of Toggis which are in their 4th season and still as good as the day I bought them, I've heard some bad things about Le chameau leaking (From gunshop owners) but I've never tried them myself so can't say for sure. If these Toggis ever wear out or get damaged I'll definately get another pair.
Nial
I don't know whether I've got 'limp' ankles but I like the support of a decent pair of leather boots. I've only seen one pair of muck boots but they were like slippers, with no apparent support at all. Do any wellies give a bit of support for walking on uneven ground? Daveo26
Iv got Grubs and Muckboots (i rotate) and i find the soles poor on both of them. Pretty slippy! and the muck boots have started leaking within 12 months how ever they are warmer than the Grubs Both boots have a small reflective strip on the back, Which would reflect light if you were running away from someone who was trying to find you in his field with a lamp  So in closing dont buy muckboots if your a poacher or walk in muddy fields or in wet weather Do buy them if you like have warm feet (briefly)
Delbert
No problems with the Chameau I although I prefer the neoprene lined they are dead comfy provided they fit (as mentioned). I just bought a pair of Toggi's Wanderer Plus Neoprene for £60 and they are brilliant just as good as when they were branded Kudu. Both Chameau and Toggi have the stiffer soles which if you are walking distances on uneven ground are less tiring. burntout
Just got a pair of Hunter Balmoral Classics and they're cracking. After cutting about in a pair of site steelies I was amazed how flexible they are. My feet are quite narrow so I need a decent pair of socks but with them they fit like, errrm, a welly. Looking forward to clocking up many a mile in these bad boys.
