kdubya
Went to a new farm today (NICE) drove around with the farmer him showing me the boundaries and were he had the biggest rabbit infestations ( reason he got my number and gave me a call) anyway after I had had a look round and worked out a cunning plan he says to me what do you do with the rabbits, I reply sometimes keep a few sometimes they go to the gamedealer sometimes they are left for charlie, he then says I have a friend who buys rabbit ? but he will only buy head shot unpaunched rabbit as they go to france? now I know hare get sold on un paunched ( I wont shoot them) but rabbit nah surely not? Zapp
I can only suggest that the French buyers dont want the livers/kidneys etc exposed to the air. Cant say that I would fancy it though. ZB

AndyCM
I used to sell a few to a game dealer a few years back - he wanted headshot / unpaunched rabbits only. He said they went to Belgium Cheers AndyCM

Rob G
I think the reason they have to have the guts in is because they are being exported,a inspecter will check them before they go into the food chain. The gamedealer i work for has them gutted another one i know of who exports them insists the guts are left in.His go to france/belgium
