Fuddster
Well said, I go mid week and nearly have the ground to myself-ideal for taking a novice and spending a bit of time without spectators. fudd

canthitathing
Park Lodge is my regular haunt and has really come on in the last couple of year. The Targets change regularly so there's usually something new to shoot. The battue off the high tower is a pig though. paulos
I've heard a sneaky rumour that they are holding a registered sporting shoot later in the year as well, which is great news
mickyh
Me and my mate went yesterday and had a really good day out. Cost us £47 each for 3 hours 30 mins, and we both shot over 100 clays.so not bad at all including cartridge's. We both spent time at the 42 metre tower and once we found the birds, started to do alright, I recon it was about 7 to 8 YARDS LEAD ! My favourite birds were from the 30 metre tower, driven Partridge doubles.Again though, 3 to 4 yards lead ! Then there was the variable traps, they came from everywhere ! Staff were very professional and really helpful. I'll be going back soon, cracking day out. Edited November 2, 2013 by mickyh
Jega
Me and my lad go whenever he's home from university ,we tend to shoot a round of skeet just to get moving and get our eye in then have a round of compaq before having a coffee break .We finish off with 50 sporting clays .Takes some beating for a day out with your lad at a reasonable price for a bloody good ground . delburt0
Does anyone fancy the Sunday 22nd of December. Near enough the festive , Christmas hats optional , at the end of the day it's about putting names to faces and a few hours of fun and not the talent of shooters 5/50. Or. 49/50 it don't really matter. This is the only Sunday that works for me but if the majority wants to go with a different date that's fine. As long as there is a get together it will never suit everyone. atb Delburt0..,,,,, Please show interest or preferred dates. mickyh
31,000 + Pigeon Watch Members ! Please don't come -we'll never get a shot, or buy a drink . The high Tower Clays takes 10 to 15 seconds to land for God's sake ! Time it ? Its a long time ! Edited November 4, 2013 by mickyh
