He has been friends with my father for 30years shot together at clays and game all over the world!!

We take days on his shoot and trust me all the cups and world titles aside he is so gifted with a gun on both, I have seen it first hand many times, he is with us this year in Wales I am loading for him for 3days cant wait...

I have met him at Mid Kent (where some of the clay sequences were shot|) and at Willow Farm (his shoot is next door).

He seems a nice bloke, always prepared to chat, no airs and graces at all.

i can see Willow Farm from my mum's house and sometimes shoot with the farmer who must have the shoot next to Georges

"George's" eh how very luvvy :good:

Just to add to all the other comments, he used to shoot Caterham and Horne back when we used to go there, seemed a nice enough bloke - would turn up with his mate, shot 98/100 or there abouts.

They would then go onto the other one and do the same - so top gun at both about £300 for a Sunday morning out doing what you love, nice work if you can get it :good:

He still does. That's exactly what he did this Sunday - Court Farm - 98 and then on to Caterham for a 96

for a long time now its known how good at clays he his best in the world at sporting in my opinion; :good: but when he shot the record bag at the time he says he fired over 1050 shells and picked 661 found 37 that was hit and flew on the day after dotted around the area so hit around 700 pigeons in total that works out at about 70 pigeons per 100 shots approx compare his average with clays around 93 per 100 just goes to show that the woodies can test the best in the buisiness let alone us mere mortals  .havin said that i shot 88 pigeons the other week and fired 105 shells well picked 82 hit 6 that went down but couldn;t find.just waitin now for the big head jibes and who do you think are you coments :good: and my reply would be better than george digweed :lol:

Even the great man says rifle shooting upsets his shotgun shooting, it's not just us.

If I could shoot like he does on a bad day I'd be more than happy I recon. Unfortunately I don't think it's the rifle shooting that upsets my shotgunning, I'm just not very good!
