kyska
He's great, he has no pattern whatsoever, he can arrive at 06.00 on a saturday morning banging on the door, or he can turn up at half five in the evening, depending on how he feels....now we normally give him a small gift for all of his hard, albeit random work he doesn for the village. He lives in the village and has done for years, I got home yesterday, to find the red card on the floor written on it... "3 Parcels, Left in wheelie bin" Being a villager he should know the bins are collected on a Tuesday. Thats all of my daughters christmas presents from Amazon. ******* numpty. artschool
thats harsh. i hope that they dont give you a load of grief to get the money back. you might be better just emailing amazon to say the parcels didnt arrive(which is the truth) as they might sort out new stuff quicker. Billy.
I keep getting notes saying they're in the bin. How stupid is that, especially if the person is away or something.
HDAV
LOL Dont keep the bins anywhere near the front door... HOpe you get everything sorted out.
vole
He sounds an ideal candidate for inviting in then water board him in your bath ,it aint torture so you should get away with it. What a plank . You will not be the only ones he has upset .
J@mes
We had a parcel which was easily small enough to go through the letterbox just left half hanging out today. Quite easy for someone to walk along and pluck it out. ******.
Cookiemonsterandmerlin.
One way to sort this in future is ask postie to leave a your not in card and you can collect it from your nearest delivery office. Thats what he should be doing in the first place unless you have a agreed safe place . Cheers OTH
GW80
Flip side of this but is if he had just put the usual card through the door asking to collect at sorting office he will be called the usual p*** why did he not just leave round back etc, don't get me wrong i sympathise with you but sometimes your damned if you do and damned if you don't as they say!! Dr W
Perhaps your presents going missing were meant to be, you now know what she wants for Xmas, time to get down the pet shop for a replacement.

al4x
Damn, the Postman killed the cat as well ?  at least he didn't put it in the bin as well seriously though the reason they doorstep parcels is usually to make your life easier and also so they don't have to carry them back. Ok the bin is a stupid idea as is them forging your signature which also happens regualrly

njc110381
Oh my god! Guys, come on! You can't say that! Cranfield, of all people I wouldn't have expected that from you. I thought it but there's no way I was actually going to say it! :o I'm so sorry for your **** week fella. That's real hard luck! Regarding the presents I'd photocopy the note (to keep the original as evidence rather than hand it over to them) and take it down the post office ranting! That's just not on! The cat - well there's not a lot you can do about that. I really hope your daughter gets over it quickly. What a bad week she's having!
